Noh Min-woo performs in concert with Boohwal

Having just played a rock star in the KBS Drama Special mini-drama Rock Rock Rock, actor (and former member of pop band TRAX) Noh Min-woo will be a special guest at the 2010 Boohwal Christmas Concert. He’ll perform alongside Kim Tae-won, the famous rocker guitarist of Boohwal whom Noh portrayed in the drama.
Apparently Noh Min-woo first met Kim Tae-won at an Lee Seung-gi concert (aw, Gumiho support), and they now enjoy a friendly, brotherly relationship. Kim said of Noh’s portrayal of him, “When I heard from Noh Min-woo that he’d be playing me in the drama, I shared stories with him about my life. Through that process we became closer, and that’s how I ended up inviting him to this concert.”
As I mentioned briefly in my year-end review, I was impressed with Noh in Rock Rock Rock, having kept low expectations about his acting after seeing him in other dramas earlier this year. He was certainly very pretty in Pasta as one of the young Italian chefs at the restaurant, but he was mostly beautiful wallpaper in that. He had more to do in My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho, but his low-energy performance made me think he’d be just another wooden actor with a model’s good looks. It was much to my surprise that he came to life in Rock Rock Rock, showing a youthful energy I didn’t know he possessed.
Noh will participate in two songs at Boohwal’s December 24 and 25 concerts, which take place at the convention hall at Seoul’s Grand Hilton Hotel.

well I think you were a little quick to judge about No min woo XD I was a fan of rose since trax started so I had witnessed his crazy energetic side before. I personally don't think his performance and character portrial in Gumiho was wallpaper like at all, I got a lot of emotion from him in that roll. :D but hey I am might just be a bias miwoo fan who thinks hes truely an angel sent from above<3 lol

I think his Hunter character is by itself ordinary but I also knew that he can do a lot better. He's one of the craziest guys I've seen in the entertainment industry ;)

Though, comparing Noh, or should I say "Rose", to J-rockers always makes me giggle. I still laugh at that rumor of him being Yoshiki's son. Of course, if you're going to put Gackt in here, we could say that everyone THOUGHT he was Yoshiki's son, but it turns out that Rose (Noh) is really the son of Yoshiki's close friend: Gackt!
I kid, Gackt's ex-wife may have been Korean, but I'm sure he bore no son. Unless it was Noh Min Woo.
Gah, now I got to start youtubing some Gackt all night.
All these makjang dramas have corrupted my mind, and now I'm starting to make my own fanfics -_-

I always think that Min Woo had more to offer than being just a wallpaper or "stoic" character in dramas he joins. It's simply because he is under utilize.
I wish him the best and hope that the coming 2011 will be the turning point of his acting career...

noh min woo is a very good actor. he's proven that in Rock Rock Rock... he's talented, he can sing and play instruments such as guitar, drums and the piano. and for that he's gained my respect. and i love him, kkk!

I remember your words on the first post about Rock Rock Rock - that Kim Tae Won was never as pretty as Noh Min Woo even in his most glorious days..
but, somehow they look not so much different esp in the 2nd last picture above!

Well, Noh is a rocker himself and is one seriously talented musician (piano, guitar, drums, etc), so to see him back on stage with a legendary rocker? FABULOUS. I wish I was there.

I go skiing for two days, and when I come back people are trying to steal my hubby? >:(. On another note, I'm glad hubby has proved his acting potential and is even invited to boohwal's concert. :D. If you were to look at his twitter posts you would find out that he really loves his work, and his cat. :P

I just want to point out something. Minwoo was a member of 'The TRAX' - a visual kei rock band.
When Minwoo left, 'the TRAX' became 'TRAX' and was made into a pop band with only 2 original members left.
