Kim Hye-soo accessorizes fall fashion with dirt
by girlfriday
WTF? I…can’t even begin to describe this photo shoot.
I’m going to go with: Zombie Twins Fresh Out of the Grave.
Right?
Perhaps the zombies had on nice dresses before becoming zombie-fied, but now they’re a hot mess. As most zombies are. As if being a vampire wasn’t enough. She’s got a flare for the melodramatic, this one.
Actress Kim Hye-soo, star of the new MBC drama Home Sweet Home, inexplicably goes for a roll in the mud wearing haute couture, proving that sometimes…fashion is just whack.

I...don't understand. What fashion?? She looks like she just fell down in the neighbourhood playground or something and then got into a fight with the ahjumma at the chicken shop. (Ahhh Miho-ya!)

I'm ok with her dress, or her hair, but what's up with her skin?

To be honest, she looks like she's been the victim of a crime. Note the frightened look in her eyes, and suspicion in the second photo. Gotta love a magazine that is pushing rape or possibly just assault victim chic. If you think I'm being over the top, just picture the way any heroine in a slasher film looks by the end of the film, seem familiar?

That is totally what I thought, too! It's the "just got raped" vibe that i was picking up. I'm so not cool with that being a fashion statement!!!

I'm going to try to look at this from an artistic POV. That red earring in the first pic is supposed to look like a gash on her neck, right? And the fuzzy animal--I mean dress--
Oh, I give up.

I like the red earring from the first one. How it lies ruby red on her neck makes it stand out. The other two? Let's just say the accessories don't stand out, which goes against the point of the shoot right?
So I vote go for the first one, discard the last two. XD

I agree, the first one is ok. Maybe they should have run with that one and went with a "vampiral" look instead of "me-and-my-sister-has-nothing-to-do-with-that-chopped-up-body-in-the-dumpster-over-there" look.

To me, it kinda looks okayyy (haute couture?) if it's w/o the dirt. And I'll just ignore the furry stuff coming out from the coat. Supposedly it is the same material used to make Totoro's dust bunnies.

What a horrible picture. Who in the hell was the so called Photographer that i would like to know. Also, who is the person that gave approval. She looks like she just came out of a birds nest (the Hair)...let alone her Ostrich Feather Dress...Were is the fashion?

Couture what? Her frizzy hair? Is volume, the latest couture IT factor? I think botox has stolen the best of her lately.

I adored her in Style and I seem to pigeon-hole her ever since.
Keep this up, and I really will start a Style marathon to compensate what loss tipped the scale.
