the only thing i enjoyed in BK was the childhood part after that i stopped watching ....
i have only seen the anime version of PK it was good, but cant say the same for the drama tried watching but gave up after ep1...now i am fully addicted to MGIG ....maybe after it completes will give PK another try...

i'm from malaysia..i really like baker king..it's really interesting drama..the story is brilliant..i not watch PK because it's about love...in Malaysia, there have many dramas about love so i'm sick with this genre..baker king is about bread, family..and i really love this..so sad it had end

I wonder if they decided a bit too fast. I mean, they KNEW that PK would get a low rating with BK still around. What if the numbers suddenly change after that?

Whatever the case, I don't want another Goong. When MBC (Why is it MBC again??!?) suddenly extended Goong, it ruined the storyline for me.

And that's from a person who watched it all at once. Imagine a person having waited a whole week just to receive... crap.

i think all of us should put this discussion to a rest. BK was well received and there's nothing we can do bout it. how much i love watching PK.. i can't help but feel sad bout the ratings and the cutting of 20 eps into 16 eps. i don't think that's final. i'm still hoping that it remains a 20 ep drama. to the PK fans, don't lose hope. we all know that there are tons who watched on the internet plus well received. hope the rating goes up in the coming episodes.

I'm not surprised regarding ratings , Baker King is
excellent drama , logical ,smart , touching ending . They can balance well
between the acting skill and the look of casts , in the end
acting skill is way more important than look .
Currently i watch Giant , it's another excellent drama .
Comrades , war drama , is amazing , realistic drama , very touching , delivering very meaningful message , love this
drama .

Finally Baker King ends.. I can take a good rest now!! I always followed this drama for months. But sadly Im gonna miss you the cast!! Love the drama to death..;-)

seriously SOME of u need to read the recap b4 jumping into conclusion that PK sucks. i was made believed tht everyone was hating on this drama but i was wrong bcoz there are many who LOVE the drama! reading the recap just makes me wanna even watch it MORE. i'm disappointed in how some of the BK viewers are being a meany. no offense.really. I thought PK is a fun drama to watch. I shouldn't have trust what BK viewers said. No bueno. btw, i have korean friends and i believe that cute/romantic dramas are their all time favourite dramas. Idk why some of u said they are sick of it. BK was on the last ep so it's natural that they watch BK to know how it ends. I'm sure Pk will pick up it's ratings in the meantime since BK has ended.

How true is it that PK is gonna be a 16 ep drama?? I find it weird and curious where some of the sites got the info from. Is there proof? i don't think there's official word from MBC yet. i googled the korean websites with PK articles related but i don't see that they mentioned anything bout it.

In my opinion, i would love to watch MGIAG and PK since their genres are my cup of tea...but since i have watched BK first, i would like to share my feelings about the drama...

First i am a fan of BK (definitely!) but i am not the person who will say "Watch it! it's good!" because i know for other people it was boring and not like PK or MGIAG. BK's genre was not my cup of tea at all because i don't like watching a "dramatic" drama if you know what i mean. Honestly I almost gave up on the first few episodes but I don't know why but it really appealed to me. As I have watched through episodes, i enjoyed every single episode of it. The most epic thing is, when i cried in two consecutive episodes (in the scene where the teacher died) and that hit me.

It was the greatest kdrama of 2010 in my opinion and i love it! i think i will never get tired of watching it again and again. I really cried mostly in this drama and i will miss it. There are moral things that i have learned and put it to my heart. I like how people strive hard to get to top and not because of bad things.

I think it is also the reason why i like the drama. UNDERDOGS rules! :)
I am proud to be a BK fan and i congratulate the drama for the success and high ratings. For, they deserve it! Good job! :)

As for MGIAG and PK, i hope they have higher ratings now that BK has ended. It is truly a sad thing for PK although i was really bored when i have watched the first episode but I'll try to watch the other episodes now and MGIAG also. :)

Baker King is the best drama ever. Majun and YK coupling is so unexpected but so good!

Maybe this will teach group 8 to stop destroying perfectly good and overdone stories from now on.

BOF was a disaster and so is this PK adapation. I cringe. They just changed the characters to suit them to avoid it actually being plagiarism... "just pretend it's adaptation or something and no one will suspect a thing!"

Honestly, Baker king wasn't fantastic. I hate sob stories. But the acting was fantastic. Other than kim takgu who improved in the end as a result of plot developments and good actors to bounce off energy, the rest of the characters had superb acting skills. I am so surprised that it could get almost 50 per cent. That's unheard of right? I mean I hear 30 percent and that's amazing already.

I really like PK...and I'm not a teenager, whats wrong with Korean rating? I have seen 1 ep of BK and then I've been watching PK all the time waiting to next eps.

Just finished watching Baker King and holy smoke. It is the BEST korean drama I've ever watched and I've been watching korean dramas since I'm 6 years old. No kidding.

Kim Taek Goo is one of those character that is amazingly charming. I watched this drama with my mom, uncle and grandmother and all of them said taek goo was their favorite guy in the show. He's just.....so damn perfect as a human being. And I don't mean those corny "perfect hottie" kinda guy.
Not to mention the plot was very interesting and full of valuable life lessons.

I watched the Taiwanese version and tbh, if you are older than 20 there is no way you will like that kind of drama. PK only appeal to tween girls who haven't had enough love experiences to believe in those stuff.
