Juni is a young mom in Legend

Okay, that’s cute, right? Now we get our first peek at the backstory for Juni‘s character in I Am Legend. She was a former idol-in-training who had a little “accident” with a fellow idol-in-training that turned her into a young single mom.
Her character Ah-reum has barely been onscreen so far and pre-show press materials hadn’t really described her, so she’s been a bit of a mystery till now. This also explains why the Ah-reum character, a talented guitarist, would join up with the ajummas’ Madonna Band instead of pursuing her own career. She had been a trainee in high school until she got pregnant (baby daddy is Kim Joon-hyung of Jejoongwon, Wife Returns), after which she gave up dreams of a music career to take care of her child. The baby is said to be featured in a good number of scenes.
This is Juni’s second time playing a mother (first was in the sports movie Take Off), and she said, “I’m not really good at handling babies but I really like them. But even if it’s being quiet, the baby will suddenly start crying and I have no idea what to do, so it’s a struggle.”
Meanwhile, the next episode will feature Seol-hee (Kim Jung-eun) ready to duke it out with her adulteratin’ husband Ji-wook (Kim Seung-soo) at the courthouse, as he refuses to grant her a divorce. (His character has political aspirations and would prefer she be an empty trophy wife than tarnishing his public image with divorce. What a prince!)
I Am Legend airs Episodes 3 and 4 this Monday and Tuesday.

awww so adorable! must be uber difficult to handle the baby and the guitar! i think ill wait for the serial to get over and then marathon it! I cant have another CH on my hands...checking every 5 mins or so to see if the subs were out or not every tues and wed! so not happening ( or so i hope!!)

awesome! i don't have time to watch this show, but i'll be following along with recaps, i think. juni looks kiiinda like shinae in the second pic... her and kim jung eun are both gorgeous, and i love the female-centricness and girl power vibe of this drama, so refreshing.

first time I've read Kim Hyun Joong... 2nd Kim Hyung Joon and 3rd time I got it( you know the trick with phrase with every letter of every word messed up... but in the end you can read easily because we just can read it???)... sry sometimes is bad when you know the names of so many ppl who don't even care that they exist

I'm liking this show so far and I can't wait for the next episodes air. One thing that's making me nuts is the whole divorce thing. Even if he doesn't want the divorce, how the heck does he expect the Court to not grant the divorce if at least one party in the marriage wants it? Psh.

well even in america you can't get a divorce unless both parties sign the papers.. i think in korea it just depends on how well you spin your story to the court in order to get a divorce.

Aww! Awesome! I'm excited for this Kdrama and I can't wait until it is released with English subtitles. Also, I really liked this actress in IRIS even though she wasn't exactly substantial until towards the end.

Read your recaps that's why I started watching this drama...I was disappointed at first, when Kim Sun ah reneged on the role...but Kim Jung Eun is doing much better than I expected (just like you said!!!) & you know I depend so much on your drama recommendations, JB!!!

AHHHHH I'm a sucker for cute babies..and this little guy is just adorable!!!...
Well so far I have watch first 2 episodes and I'm loving the vibe and story line.....and I think there could be more suprises to come......I love the ajumma bad is hilarious and the music so far so good.....
