I've looked around for the manhwa, and although I don't understand what's being said, it looked interesting. And the main character style and fashion really do look like Suk's... ^^

gah, i always get excited when manga/manhwa adapts into live-action dramas, but it's a shame that they always don't turn out as well as expected (well, with the exception of HanaDan and Nodame Cantabile).

Anywho, i have mixed feelings on JSG taking this role, on one hand it'd be interesting to see him play a hard-core death metal band vocalist, but on the other, i don't think he can quite pull it off. meh, oh well, i will probably watch it anyway if he ended up being casted.

jang geun suk needs to try something new and radically different if he wants to challenge himself as an actor. How many times has he played a musician or something related? He was one in You're Beautiful, Beethoven's virus, and in the movie DoReMiFaSoLaSiDo (which ironically, had him as a member of a rock grouo). Time to break the mold a bit JGS!!!

Hm, death metal...I have my doubts. I've never seen a death metaller that looked like him, but that doesn't mean they don't exist, of course XD Still, he doesn't have the vibe nor the coolness...but it should be interesting, nonetheless =D

agree with rickshot. love the dude, but his last few projects didn't do much for me. eh, maybe it's just me, but.. ?? and yeah, i freakin hate his style. i know it's cool and hip and all, but i cringe. for real. and with him being a death-metal vocalist.. gosh.. i can just picture it now.

I don't mind the singer slant; he's had a role as the singer for a band thrice (I think), and with his good voice, it suits him. But please let him gain more weight. He's looking anorexic these days.

I can kinda see JGS in corpse paint. When he's full on glaring, he can kinda pass as a Korean Ihsahn. Not sure how the church burning will go down among the girls thoguh . . .

My guess is that if Jang Geon Suk agrees to do this, he'll end up as a V-Kei frontman, living out his childhood dream as Hyde. If so, Hee Chul will need to be cast as a Gackt-wanna be, and then we can have our requisite Hyde/Gackt yaoi service moments.

I agree w/ a lot of people here, as much as I want to see him on screen again .. I think he should skip this one & opt for a role w/o any musical instrument please. I just loved his intensity in Hong Gil Dong & I'm hoping he'd choose a project that will show us that side of him again.

My first response to this was: Do Koreans do death-metal? Like, I could totally see them pulling off some Numetal, but death-metal? I usually only associate that with Norway.

I hope I'll like him in this one. I was rooting for Shin Woo hyung (till he proved himself to be gutless and slow) even though I watched the drama for JGS. I hope it's fun. I feel bad for the "perfect man." He rarely wins in love when in comes to dramas, outside of All About Eve.

Excited because I know JGS will pull it off. He was a rock band vocalist in The Happy Life.

I think if this does happen..he will be pretty good, he was a total psycho in The Case of Itaewon Homicide...although the movie itself left me unsatisfied. He has what that terrible drama "Style " calls.."EDGI"..lol..so he'll pull of the rocker look wonderfully
