Eun-jung lines up horror movie project
by javabeans
Looks like T-ara singer Ham Eun-jung will be pursuing her acting endeavors more actively — she is still working on her current drama, SBS’s romantic-comedy series Coffee House, but she has already lined up her next acting project, a horror film titled White (a working title).
White‘s plot unfolds around a suspicious incident surrounding a popular girl idol group. Looks like it will keep its casting true to its theme in bringing onboard another young singer, 18-year-old May Doni. Joining the two pop starlets are 15-year-old actress Choi Ara (who debuted in Blink as a 5-year-old and was also in Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance) and 17-year-old new face Jin Se-yeon.
I generally like Eun-jung in Coffee House; it’s not an outright love, but I find her character sympathetic and likable. I do wonder, however, how an idol star can remain active in the group while taking on multiple acting jobs — particularly when her other bandmates are also busy with side projects. Where are these kids finding all this time? (Boy, do I feel useless.)
White will begin filming in July (which means Eun-jung will jump right in after wrapping up Coffee House) and plans to release in the first half of 2011.

After all that effort not to accidentally put up "Coffee Prince" in place of "Coffee House", you finally caved huh?
As for this, with all these horror films, I feel like I need to watch one now... All I have to do is find someone to watch it with. Xb

Good for her other things open up for her to try out.
Oh yeah... "White will begin filming in July (which means Eun-jung will jump right in after wrapping up Coffee Prince) and plans to release in the first half of 2011."
As @ 4 Ani points out. I finally got my sister to watch Coffee Prince, it's been 3 yrs., while I brew her in angst to watch Coffee House after the series ends in July. pahehe.

Many T-ara members are active in acting field. Since they are talented, I don't mind and I think after Bo Pep Bo Pep's succesful, their company gives them opportunity to try other field too. I guess older people will recognize them if they are acting compare with when they are in T-ara group. So, it's still good promotion for T-ara group
How I wish Jiyeon, Eunjung, Hyomin and Boram will acted together in drama or movie^^

I think that's why these idol stars are always in the Korean news for fainting from exhaustion, dehydration, or malnutrition. Companies want to milk the popularity while the stars want to be more famous. That equals blatant overworking.

@ 4 & 5: Noticed the 'Coffee Prince', too, and it might be because I've just finished re-watching it, including the Special episode for the umpteenth time. CP is a classic, to me, one K-drama I will never tire of.
I like Eun-jun's character in CH and whilst there's been some advice not to root for any pairing, I am rooting for her. From recent developments, though, it might be less likely, but you never know.
Thanks, javabeans.

Ya, well, that's why they must have variety shows where Korean celebrities are allowed to sleep on it (like We Got Married)...and that's why, like so many others pointed out, they keep fainting and going in and out of the hospital for exhaustion, malnutrition etc. There's just not enough hours in the day to do all the stuff they do...and sleep. Nope.

They don't have all this time. Basically, they work until their bodies give out and then we get news of them being hospitalized for exhaustion. There just has to be a better way for the Korean Entertainers to have a more balanced schedule. Hope for all the best!

She looks so much better w/ long hair. I was bummed they cut her hair even shorter on Coffee House, like they're really trying to make her look ugly. And let the poor girl wear some make-up, darn it!

If they're trying to make her "look ugly" it's not working! She's cute as a button in 'Coffee House.' Although I am much in disfavor with the recent trend of actresses cutting their beautiful locks short. It's been done to death.

Qri has acted in Queen Seon Deok, Giant, and Death Bell 2. Soyeon is T-ara's lead vocalist, so I'm assuming she's just going to have a lot of theme songs to sing and that she's not going into acting.

They had to make Eun-jung homely looking in Coffe House because she's smoking hot with the Gain haricut. It just wouldn't work. Can't hide her incredible body though.

SoYeon will have her promotion of Death Bell OST What Should We Finish come right up this week.
Not everybody will enter the acting field. They may branch for models, radio, variety shows...
And Eunjung fighting!!! I know she can deliver!

man, totally agree with you about the kids finding time to do all this stuff. i feel totally unproductive reading about all these pop stars taking on so many different projects. though it is quite nice to put up your feet after a hard day's work...its quite lazy compared to these idols.
and as for the horror project, might watch it. a little something to keep an eye out for.
