So they're only 3 years apart! Lee Seung-ki can most certainly act "older" like what he did in Brilliant Legacy but I think in this drama he's supposed to be geeky? That might actually make him look even younger... we'll how to see how it turns out. The important thing is that they'll have chemistry and that the Hong sisters can prevail from beginning to end :)

I really liked the idea of Shin Se-kyung playing a gumiho, and I've never really been too fond of Shin Mina.
Oh well, here's hoping she can really surprise me, like REALLY surprise me, like Park-Shi-yeon-suddenly-all-adorable-in-Coffee-House kinda surprise me.

I completely agree with you on this one. The series hasn't started yet and I'm almost tired hearing about it. Plus, I've already come to terms that Shin Se Kyung will play opposite Lee Seung Ki and just when I was getting excited to see how those two will be paired up together, this news comes out.

It's not that I don't like Shin Min Ah, she was passable in 'A Love to Kill' but 'The Devil' aka 'Mawang' was A-W-F-U-L in all sense of the term. Yes, she also looks like a noona but maybe it'll work for the better? I, too, is trying to be optimistic about it...

This person has gone from impossibly cute to jaw-droppingly gorgeous and sexy! Mina seems too become more attracive by the day. I've enjoyed all of her works to date and am looking forward to seeing her again. On a side note; Another work featuring Han Eun Jung is also welcome big time at my house. Well I personally found Shin Min Ah to be perfect for the role. Before I was kind of iffy about the drama. Now I'm actually looking forward to watching it. I don't really get the point of making the female lead lot younger than the male lead almost always in Kdramas. What do they have against older women? To me as long as they are perfect for the role (and have chemistry) I think I will be satisfied with anything. But of course I hope the plot will be kicking too (putting my faith in Hong sisters)

Off topic. Is there anyone else think Delightful Girl Chun-Hyang was the Hong sisters' best creation? If not which one do you think is?

I'm tired of LSG fans said he looks baby face. I'm sorry but I didn't see that at all. He look older than his age. Btw I never see Shin Mina as look older then her age. For God sake, she is 26 and my, she look younger and babyish then most people I know.

I'm so excited of this news. I always love Shin Mina. I can't recall an actress as beautiful as her in my eyes. Among my fav actress ever. She has the talent and natural vibe. And my, tough in most drama / movies she is rather cutesy looking but looks at her CM and model pictures, she can pull sexy vibe just well.

She is very talented but her roles doesn't give her space to shine as a serious actress but her movie with “Sisters on the Road has change that all. I love her in ALTK despite I dislike the drama depressing mode.

She can pull off many characters, all in all, she's perfect!

Anyone who thinks SMA looks older than her age has been watching too much cutesy anime.

SMA is perfect for this role, since she has the sexuality and charisma to play a woman (well, a demon in a woman's form) who wraps men around her finger (SMA did a good job playing a vibrant woman who pursues a man in "Madeleine").

While SSK is pretty, she's more of a "bland" pretty while SMA has a distinct look (distinct eyes and those dimples).

As for LSK, he's not so young-looking as he is kinda dorky-looking (which is perfect for the role as the hapless young male).

she is perfect for this role. and i think she can look pretty young, take off the make up and throw her in a school uniform and she'll totally pull off a student. on the other hand, i think LSK is actually kinda old looking, i mean i was surprised when i found out his age, but he does have that dorkish look to him that makes him seem like a kid at the same time. with this story line, i always imagined the gumiho to be older and in control of the relationship. so this works out pretty well. this is a good drama year!

Ahhh!! I wanted Shin SeKyung for the role...... because i have something against Mina, but i guess i can't help it now... Ohwell. I hope it's as good as other Hong Sister Projects.

erm thank goodness ssk wasn't picked for this role..she is not that experienced in acting and it's painful/annoying to watch her acting sometimes. shin min ah on the other hand is ultra cute and her age didn't enter my mind once as a problem or anything. i'm really happy about LSG and Shin min ah!!

After watching MGIG I'm sure everyone would say that the age difference between the lead stars is not too obvious because SMA is very young looking and 3 years gap is not that big to consider an issue. On the other hand LSG is perfectly match with SMA. It's not that he looks older but they really look good together. In fact I hope they become real couple. Just a wish though.
