Park Min-young joins Running Shirt

And I was just wondering what Park Min-young has been up to lately. She has been added to the four-episode special drama Running Shirt, which stars Baek Sung-hyun and will air in June on MBC. Her character in the drama has not been described in detail other than to say it’s a “pivotal” role. However, since it’s being touted as a “sports-related youth melodrama,” I think it’s fair to assume that she and Baek Sung-hyun will have a romantic pairing.
After shooting to fame in the sitcom Unstoppable High Kick, Park acted in the 2007 high school drama I Am Sam. She hasn’t acted in a year, since wrapping work on the historical series Ja Myung Go, which was a pretty big disappointment in light of its big budget and expectations. Mostly, she has kept a low profile in the intervening time.
Running Shirt will air its first episode on June 9.

Thanks for the news!! this is good indeed! i didnt love PMY that much in high kick! since her storyline became completely WTH with all the spy thing and all but i really like her in JMG, despite how the drama failed, she was quite good and extremely beautiful in it so im looking forward to her appearance!

^ When faced with the option of using a recent photo or one that's at least a year old, I figured recent is better. (This is from a few days ago.) But I think she looks awesome.

Oooh. I think she looks so pretty and glowing. I'm interested to see the mini series thing now.
One quick question: what are the reports i'm seeing of how shin mina is going to play the lead in my girlfriend is a gumiho? I thought it was going to be SSK.
