What a pretty couple! I've seen Autumn in My Hearts and Summer Scent and I thought SSH wasn't bad in it. As for KTH, I've only seen STH and LSH and I only like her in LSH...

I don't think she is that bad at acting but when I first saw her in Stairways to Heaven I thought she was a bit annoying with her overly staring eyes but I find her endearing in Love Story at Harvard. I'll wait and see how they act together since they are both lovely and can act decently too.

Seriously this will be like I set up my eyes for eye candy. Really looking forward it to. Which channel will broadcast it. I hope it broadcast at KBS so can watch at KBS world.

Liked Song Seung Heon in Summer scent and Autumn in my Heart. He was also hilarious in Make It Big and He Was Cool. Am hoping he would do a romantic comedy after leaving the army. So glad he is doing one now. Another drama to look forward to!

I love KTH as a person but not as actress (still long way to be recognized as real' actor), but she knows her limitation and always want to improve herself and not relying on her looks. Hope she wont'' get any antis because of this partnership, yeah, there are certain groups of 'childish' fan who are not approve SSH with this actress or that actress, they only want him with their choice (EOE) wink..wink.

KTH was funny and cute in Love Havard drama, I think she can act as a princess. But SSH for me too boring in SScent and AITH I watched for WonBin instead. His face always looked serious, hopefully he loosen up for this drama. Both of them look pretty though.

IMO, while there IS a level of persuasion that comes with the territory, the occurrence of sometimes having people come in here, having not made their minds up enough (or at all) about something and choosing to be easily swayed on a particular topic is HARDLY the writers' fault, and more an individual shortcoming OR choice to absorb someone else's opinion. I much agree with No. 65's comments about the level of "meanness" on this blog. I too hardly think there is too much meanness on the blog. I definitely have seen much worse. Most readers & JB offer very constructive comments & opinions, minus the few that are very nonconstructive that pop up here & there.

Most of the time when I post, it will be positive comments. I tend to not bother to post when I disagree just b/c I don't really want to. But does that mean I'm on a JB bandwagon b/c I only happen to mostly post positive comments that are mostly in line with hers? Hardly. I respect the owner & writer of each post, whether or not I agree or disagree or am indifferent. Each reader is entitled to their own opinion - be it agree or disagree.

That being said - i happen to agree here. I not a fan of either but I do like watching SSH (although I haven't seen EOE) and agree with popular opinion that he's quite good looking. KTH, I don't care much for her acting or her looks (but she is pretty) -- pairing them together? well, I might give it a try since I love the fluffy entertaining rom-com. I hope it will be fun & entertaining.

Just because people happen to have similar tastes does not make them a "bandwagon." I think it's pretty clear that Kim Taehee and Song Seungheon aren't the greatest actors. They get slammed for it all the time. And irritatingly, some of them get best actor awards. Yeah. And critical does not equal mean. Because, if I were mean, things would probably sound a lot uglier. Sorry, but it's true.

But yes, this sounds like an accident in the making. I wonder if writer Kim Eunsook had any say in the casting? I inevitably think of On Air and the casting bonanza that happened in there, but of course On Air is a drama. I've generally been a fan of Kim Eunsook's stuff, so I'll probably tune in.

Although I really don't remember really seeing Song Seungheon in a comedy role... except for He Was Cool, which was a hecka long time ago.

I don't get it. I first became aware of KTH when I saw Love Story from Harvard and I thought she was cute. I next saw her in Stairway to Heaven and I hated her character. Now she played someone you should hate so to me, she did her job. There are other actresses out there who are far worse than KTH.

I've liked some Kim Eun-sook's dramas The writing isn't perfect, but the dramas are fun to watch.

But Tae Hee and Seung Heon are both so terrible actors, they're either stiff or overacting. I can't believe they got awards for their acting. -_-'

I really can't imagine a drama with 2 weak actors as leads... So I have no idea what to imagine of this drama.

You know.. I'm actually glad they're doing this drama together. That means one less chance of KTH doing a drama with one of my fav actors. I think I will give this drama a try out of curiosity. Who knows? This one might turn out to be surprisingly good.

Kim Eunsook is actually kind of a diva in her own right (she's not afraid of stirring the pot in the press about other station's dramas), and she's arguably SBS's main go-to person when the station wants to produce a Romance Star Vehicle. In fact, the station often uses the Kim Eunsook Brand (plus the salaries commensurate with that) to lure movie actors into doing TV again, such as Jeon Do Yeon, Lee Bum Soo, Cha Seung Won, Kim Joo Hyuk, etc. She's also arguably the top writer in the Hallyu business. Oh Soo Yun may still have higher pull in Japan, but City Hall and On Air were both recent hits in China and Taiwan. And the Lovers trilogy never seem to go out of stock.

I love Kim Tae Hee in "Love story in Harvard". The role of "princess" is suitable for her. But, I need the really good storyline and director. Good storyline and good director are very important and necessary.
SSH is not a good actor enough to lead the drama. So, this drama needs the second good actor such as Oh-ji-ho or .........

agree with fraulein, i too must be living under the rock to hear so much complaint about SSH's acting. i mean, i'd never heard any complaint abt his acting before EOE.. i guess he made so many antis after EOE? or maybe the antis mostly come from a certain fan.

words of opinions and nothing more... so i don't see those as credible attributes that represents SSH...

even if i step out of my biasness, standing neutral and read all the articles that was said about SSH in KOREAN NEWS MEDIAS and critics... it's a joke to bring up the word "bad" in the same sentence with the name SSH... if at all, it is the amount of money that he may demand per project, which may seem too unreasonable (that's the same with any high valued celebrities in any industry)... but that in itself isn't a representative of his acting prowess but of his popularity and marketability--plain and simple, SSH to many people, not just in Korea--gather audience in masses

Not really. Only if they had handpicked their costars themselves then may be. But pairings aside, I have my own opinions on some of the names on your list and they are also not very favorable.

My prediction about My Princess is that it's going to be something like Oh My Lady. Cheesy rom com with a bland storyline without any content that could be challenging for the actors. Just with more product placement probably. If that's the case then both KTH and SSH will do just fine. :)
