You're Beautiful posters were ridiculous as well so I'm not gonna let the quality of the poster bother me! And UEE is superb at acting despite the fact that she's a novice.

I think the photoshopper didn't like arms...check out Ue's left arm it's barely there, plus the chick on the bottom has a very twig like right arm as well. (& Yes those dreads look awful...like they were wigged ontop of his very short hair from Style xD...what ever happened to doing it with "edge"?)

You have a point. The YB poster of the actors like angels was what made me put off watching the drama until I had absolutely nothing to do months later. I ended up loving the show. But honestly, Birdie Buddy looks and sounds so...dumb. I have zero interest in it.

completely confident that this drama will not be successful (under the 15% margin) :

1) cheesy
2) based on golf
3) typical characters which strive for success/wealth
4) THE DREADLOCKS, totally kills any eyecanday...

Uh... does ANYBODY play golf wearing that? Even UEE, whose clothing is MOST normal, looks like she couldn't hit a golfball for her life.

@16 sl: Oh, only the people in the wonderful world of K-dramas where as long as it's entertaining, expect anything to happen. But hey, some dramas need to be watched for it's entertainment values to have fun. Some dramas you can critique seriously, and others you hang on to have a blast poking fun at it's oh so obvious faults ;D

I hate bringing up other dramas and make ridiculous comparisons, but perhaps since I just watch Pro Golfer Hana, I'm praying this drama will be much different.

Even the Korean title is funny. Beo-di Beo-di doesn't sound much like Birdy Buddy, but it's so fun saying beo-di beo-dI~ It's weird, but when you say 10x..... heheh. (Ah, I'm such a weirdo).

Well... in Lee Yong-woo's defense. In the original comic, the guy did have some dreadlocks for hair. Maybe k-dramas should stop being based off goofy manwha/manga.

The dreads! I don't like dreads in general but these just look awful and terrible. Lee Da-hee's outfit isn't ugly, but isn't it inappropiate for golfing? Hmm, still wondering about this drama because I want to see UEE in a different role after watching You're Beautiful, but I won't keep my hopes too high.

Man...JB you have a point. I don't get it... are they playing golf or tennis...the way they hold the golf club is a little bit weird...the posting, color, the background of the posters... well don't even want to go there...

but yes - this definitely brings a smile to my face after a very stressful evening - so i'm glad you posted these! they actually make the drama look fun!

I'm currently watching Japanese drama Pro Golfer Hana starring Kato Rosa, and as Biscuit has mentioned...Birdie Buddie seem to have a similar storyline with Pro Golfer Hana, where poor girl (Kato Rosa) with debt become a professional golfer to save her family pay off the debt and she had the strong love of her golf from her dad, and there's another girl (katase nana) who's rich and privileged who competes with her to be a pro golfer against her.

I hope its a bit different but then again, we'll just have to see how it turns out..

So actually these posters look so hilarious I'm actually tempted to catch the premiere. I was looking forward to seeing UEE onscreen again anyway, this seems like a good opportunity. She looks quite cute here, actually, and I really enjoyed watching her in YB.

As for LYW and LDH...at first I thought he was wearing a fuzzy cap. I thought, why would anyone wear a fuzzy cap while golfing? But no, that's his hair. Oy.

LDH looks fine from head to waist until you catch a glimpse of the golf club. Which equates to WTF? Does not compute.
