Park Shi-hoo celebrates birthday with fans
by javabeans
Actor Park Shi-hoo is hard at work on his just-premiered drama, Prosecutor Princess, so he’s spending most of his time on the drama set. Still, he managed to take a few hours to attend a surprise birthday party — his 32nd — on the afternoon of April 3 at Seoul’s Riviera Hotel, thrown by his fans. The event attracted approximately 120 fans, some of whom came from as far as Taiwan, Japan, and Singapore just for the day.
Park Shi-hoo came directly from shooting a scene at the public prosecutor’s office, and after the party headed to the Gwangju film set for an all-night shoot. Park said, “I was able to spend time with fans for the first time in a long while, but I’m disappointed that I had to leave quickly because of my filming schedule. Still, thanks to the fans, it was a warm and meaningful birthday. I hope I’ll be able to see fans again soon. Please show Prosecutor Princess a lot of love.”
(As you probably well know!) Prosecutor Princess airs on Wednesdays and Thursdays on SBS.

I LOVE so far in PP. I can't wait to see how it is all revealed.
And I do love the fan appreciation stuff. Might seem a bit much, but to me it's a very down to earth thing in our very technical day and age.

@oatmeal: because it's "korean age". He was born in 1978, yet in Korea, it is as if you're born in year number one, so their age is "occidental age" + 1 ;)
I don't know why, but i'm loving PP much more than PT. I want to know who the hell is heeeee!! Mistery! ^^

Park Shi Hoo showed us some of his naughty-comical side in the latter half of "Glory of the Family" w/c I loved...but in PP, he's mysteriously-adorable & so apt for his role!!! in fact, if the momentum of Prosecutor Princess doesn't go haywire...& judging from its 1st 2 episodes...It just might turn out to be one of my favorites!!!
Belated Happy Birthday,PSH!!!

I thought I'd just have a peek at Prosecutor Princess but I got hooked!!! She is so funny! Hilariously ridiculous!!! Her trendy fashion is quite childish for a lawyer!!! Park Shin hoo is soo cute. I love his role here! Yes, still mysterious. What;s with the interest with her. Their hotel at the meeting was a set up! His! Really cute! I will keep watching to see her - the prosecutor princess change!
Happy 32nd birthday Park Shin hoo. You look like 25!

Shi Hoo Oppa, Happy Birthday! Is he really that far along in years? I knew he was older... but oh dear... Hm, I feel so naughty for liking him xD and here I swore my limit was seven years older... I was first introduced to him in Iljimae (which i watched because Hyo Joo was in it, and not femme Joon ki mkay.) His acting is a little typical, but still hes better then most Kactors. Maybe Im bias? He's in my top five for the most attractive men (ever), including the gorgeous guy that lives four blocks from me lol. I dunn know why, but I seriously love everything about his face, even more so when he smiles, gah.
Im enjoying PP so far, his character is so mysterious and intriguing - while still being humorous. I need to know what the heck his character is up to, but thus far, I got no clue.
Im glad he's in something light hearted (so far it seems that way at least) To be honest, I try to avoid heavy dramas and often abandon them halfway through, either they try to hard or I cant take all the crying and torture of shouting at the characters that cant hear me xO I know the drama is worth the watch (iow, spend time on it) when it can squeeze some giggles out of me while still having an enjoyable story line and characters.

very much like him too in Prosecutor Princess. I appreciated this drama much more than Personal Taste and Cinderella's Sister. I would say that the edge of the latter two is simply because of the more popular lead actor/actress, but Prosecutor is much more intelligently made, derives more laughter(without resorting to sexual jokes), and more realistic scenario. most hilarious scene to me so far was the part where the cash-counting machine was brought on by PSH for the cash money contained in a big box brought in by KSY, Her expression in that scene was fantastic! Actually, you would anticipate what is going to happen next in scene after scene in PP. Congratulations for the good start, and hope this will be sustained to the end. Try watching all three dramas before making hasty conclusions because Prosecutor Princess should be rated much more above the two.

I wouldn't say that Prosecutor Princess has a more realistic scenario than Cinderella Unni or Personal Taste... but so far PP has been enjoyable. In fact, PP and PT are not realistic at all, CU is probably stretching it. In either case, PSH is quite adorable in PP, and he acts well with KSY. The mystery plot behind his character needs to be revealed soon!

i'm agree with u paperdolls. i luv more PP than the other 2 dramas. PSH and KSY really good in their acting, and of course i luv PSH & KSY and thumbs up to PP drama. it's worth to watch.
it's really great to see another actor acting in Korean Drama who are older than me (ha ha ha)...as i always watch the actor of Korean Drama are always really young like early 20's. PSH is one year older than me but for me he is looking younger than his age. luv you...he he
