@99 Amg1

I watched Boccelli in Las Vegas...it aired on TV a while ago....it looked like in an open area. His voice is just incredible. Yes, there are the 3 tenors and there was one circulating with the 4 young men? I happened to catch them on Ellen's show and they were incredibly good. But AB is the best....

Josh Groban is good also....I was surprised to hear his voice coming out of that body. I have a few of his cd's also.

I also enjoy instrumentals....much of the time if I want to relax I prefer to listen to instrumental and I have a wide range that I enjoy. Native American, Hawaiian, Peruvian.....many of what I have were given to me by people who know me.

I also like the man with the golden flute....James Galway.

As you can tell I like music period....depending on my mood.

My favorite Hawaiian group is Ho'okena and also love Keali'i Reichel.

I stood face to face with Quincy Jones several years back....he was a handsome man and married to Peggy Lipton at the time. He's not very tall at all. I smiled and he smiled back! Swooooon!!!!!

Sorry I got carried away....

I had the chance of watching Braddah Izzy at the Maui Fair when he was still with the Makaha Sons, and after he went solo, I had the chance of watching Jerry Santos, Happa, I had the chance of meting Keali’i Reichel in Maui and also Ledward Kaapana when he was playing with IKONA, I also had the chance of watching Moe Keale a couple of years before he die,
and from contemporary bands 'Hawaiian Style Band, and Willie K.
O man I am starting to miss The Islands to da max!!!!!! Most Beautiful Place I ever lived, one day I will return to my Adoptive Home "Maui No Kaoi"!!!!!

There's something magical about the islands. My home base has always been Hawaii. I was born and raised on Kauai but Oahu is home base. I can go where ever I want but I'll come back to Oahu. There's a very strong feeling of "home" here.

I know people who never could stand being here....mainly military. Then there are those who keep returning for a visit.

My high school classmates son sings with Hapa....when I had a website I used to post many groups in the Hawaiian section and I also had native american.

Yes, I've seen IZ and Jerry Santos. I used to go to the Waikiki ho'olaulea....jam packed with people but loved to watch the entertainment.

At the shell and HIC also saw Johnny Mathis, Smokey Robinson, Yanni, Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye....

You lucky you had the chance to live here for a while.....once you experience the islands you never forget.

Have a peaceful night....

Bravo! Your piece on Prosecutor Princess is brilliant. I would have missed this refreshing gem if just going by the official synopsis. The MHR character is extremely, extremely difficult to protray because crossing a tiny fine line, she could be the most annoying person in the world. I wonder if they develop the drama with Kim So-yeon in mind and she totally convicts me to become her loyal audience from now on (although I really have high respect for her since AAE).

@ supah

Please don't tell me people are comparing IW to Jo Gook in City Hall! No way, jose. JG is a bastard but never as slimy or creepy. He makes it upfront that he is bad guy and this is the difference.

Have you watched The Devil/Mawang, SJ/General Choi had a small role in it as UTW's good friend, a small time loanshark type of guy. I was impressed by his performance there but I didn't watch Chuno. Like your idea of Jeni drugging/dragging IW back to the US and our HR/SJ can live happily ever after!

@ eiko, V and staples

Your grandma/granddaughter discussions make me want to become a grandma soon. I've been wondering what life will be like after retirement. Eiko, you give me a good role model there :)

OML is coming up in half an hour's time - can't wait.

@ ockoala

Congrat on becoming a BSGS owner! I have two box sets because the first one is c-dubbed with no Korean. The C-voice of KHJ and HHJ are still deeply ingrained in my head. After my falling so in love with this couple, I decided that I need to hear their true and original voice and hence, the second set. Enjoy this couple in their fullness!

Thanks...OT feels like the gathering place. Meeting up with fun people every single day and sharing good "stuff"......

My sleep pattern is kinda "strange" right now....but I just go with the flow.

I'm looking forward to OML also.....so excited about what Min Woo is gonna do!!!

Talk to you again later!!!!

Yikes! It seems like I can't get to PT in any way I'm trying. It's telling me it's blocked in my region. Is is being broadcasted on cable channel here and I don't know it? After reading everyone's comments here, I'm so eager to get on with it... Sigh...

Anyway, my super duper day is over. I even managed to watch CU10, I shall start on CU9 now. I know it's a little unconventional, anyhow, it works for me for now to cut down on a time i spent on K drama. Or shall I just go to sleep? I should go back and read mookie's and others' comments about this first.

Belleza, if you are lurking somewhere, it was a delightful surprise to have seen you around here. I sure do miss your perspicacious and witty comments.

Finally got my sleep... and my morning workout and breakfast...
now I'm off to watch OML!
btw, Love the discussion about Bocelli! He's one of my favorites tenor too! and quite famous in France, or anywhere I would say. lol.
I love his pairing with Hayley westenra and helene segara!
Time to say goodbye is definitely my favorite, followed by vivo per lei.
And I'm super happy that people are discussing PP, even if it involves not paring my IW with HR. lol.... I was a bit depressed when at the beginning of the thread, CS and PT dominated the comments, not that I don't love them too but I feel like protective of PP, possibly because I have a weak spot for quality underdogs, like YAB, or RoI...

okay... i'm now hyped up to see OML 13! here i come

PP lovers, this is for all SIW x MHR fans... and i guess team SJ can check it for competition as well but maybe not. it might be painful..
anyways, someone on viikii made this list of all the reasons along with pics to prove it of why IW will get the girl...
okay, so it does not always make total sense but we can all indulge right?

you might want to go back a page or two to find it.
haha... i'm not smart enough to come up with that but i sure can enjoy this!

Yeesh make one comment and all Hell breaks loose. Let me post some of the mob defense arguments:

"A whole lot of us enjoy reading recaps because they give us some additional perspective and might lead to a deeper understanding "

"I know that for me personally, watching kdramas would not be the same if I did not have your recaps to offer cultural insights and analysis, among other things."

"i always enjoy reading your comments following a drama recap because it gives me a deeper insight and/or a different perspective to the characters in a drama series"

"Above all, I don’t know how I could live without your fabulous recaps? It’s even not a option!!! "

Uhmm yeah that was my point in the first place. I thoroughly enjoyed the recaps moreso than anything else on this site and was just mentioning how the lack of them now takes away from what was once one of my favorite sites. Sorry if I don't think everything is rainbows and sunshine all the time and have a critical opinion. You guys are what give netizens a bad name. A person makes one comment that other people disagree with or is critical of a certain person and then everyone comes in to bash the messenger with insults instead of reasonable discussion.

"It’s possible you were infected with an alien virus and have no control of your typing fingers"

"haters will hate "

"On yer bike, pal. As lb_tmi cautioned, watch your butt–that door’s on a wicked spring! I feel a little bad for our soompi peers, though, who now have to endure this ungrateful schmuck"

Real mature group you have here. Enjoy your conformist ways

@No More Drama

I hardly think it's "conformist" to ask people to respect the time and effort that goes into recapping. I appreciate that you like my recaps and that's gratifying and all (honestly, the comments keep me going when I feel like burning out), but you seem to have missed the point entirely by saying how there is a "lack of recaps"????

I write four recaps a week, on average. When I began writing this blog, I wrote four recaps a week (or less). Over the years, I have added guest bloggers to handle series I wouldn't otherwise be viewing. I hardly think they're "taking away" from the recaps I write because I wouldn't be writing them anyway. I write the ones I want, and then want to add to the fun with other people's takes on additional dramas. Most people enjoy this. Perhaps you'd rather I write twenty recaps a week but that's just not possible. A little perspective from you would be nice.

I haven't watched Mawang yet. is it good?

@eiko(1), v (8), amg1(9)
haha! this is why i love OT. Flipping through the comments I saw eiko go "I love Josh Groban" So do I! You wouldn't expect him to have the amazing voice he does and his music is so soothing . . . no matter what language it's in.

As for Andrea Bocelli, he's my absolute favorite opera singer. Did you know he's blind? I had no idea, so when I found out I was completely shocked. When I saw the video for "time to say goodbye" with Sarah Brightman I got annoyed with her because she was all touchy-feely and he stood there looking like she made him uncofortable. But when I found out he was blind, the fact that he just stood there made more sense. I still think she should have calmed down a bit, though.

@everyone

Someone asked me to make them a custom personal-taste-themed header since I've already made a bunch for my blog(click on my name, please!--ugh. i think that's shameless plug#2). Since I don't watch the show, I was wondering. Does anyone have/ any favorite screen caps or pics of them together? I could flip through dramabeans' recaps, but I'd rather have specific episodes to look up than go through all of them.

thanks!

@ No More Drama and Javabeans (12&13)

Unfortunately, people tend to get a lot more over-emotional and catty when typing things rather than saying them. It's one of the down-sides of online chatting. You don't feel like you're actually talking to someone, so you don't feel the normal constraints of politeness.

Personally, Javabeans, I think you're recapping is amazing. I wondered how you managed to be doing recaps for so many dramas lately. I'm currently only recapping one and that''s hard enough! Oh, a recapping newbie question for you: How long are your recaps normally? I feel like mine are ridiculously long, and I'm not sure what sort of stuff I should be cutting out, or how long I should aim to make them. THanks!

It wasn't the "lack of recaps". I know hosting this website takes great time and effort and is much more work than one woman can take on. I was just reminiscing about the days when you would choose a drama and follow it weekly so that as soon as I finished watching an episode I could come on and share my experience and maybe read things I didn't catch or understand myself. Now there are plenty of recaps but they bounce around and fall behind the pace of the drama which is understandable, but at the same time takes away a little bit from the experience. Don't take my opinion as disrespect or me being unappreciative. I was just stating my opinion that I miss the Dramabeans of old experience and will try to find that connection somewhere else. Obviously though everyone else enjoys the current system which is fine, just not my cup o tea. Thanks for everything, your site was must read internet back in the days and I will remember that time fondly.

@No More Drama,

Additionally, I would like to ask you in all seriousness, since you have made this complaint of "too few recaps" multiple times now: What is it you would like me to do? What would satisfy you?

I'm not being sarcastic, I would like to ask you genuinely what you want and what would make you happy. And I'm not asking for something vague like "more recaps" but a real, quantifiable request.

If your real beef with me is something like (and I'm just making this up as an example) "I want you to recap Prosecutor Princess instead of Personal Taste," then I have to point out that this has nothing to do with the guest recaps. Even if I weren't recapping Personal Taste, I wouldn't recap Prosecutor, and that has nothing to do with the guest recappers who have gamely stepped up to take on the task themselves. In the old days, which you seem to recall so fondly, I would have simply ignored the series and continued on recapping the shows that interested me more.

Required fields are marked *

Ah, so I see what you want. You don't want MORE recaps, you want INSTANT recaps, is that right?

Yeah, I used to do that more. And you know what? It got fucking TIRING. Chaining myself to the keyboard the instant raws became available and watching, screencapping, and writing like a madwoman so that the recap could be up 10 hours after the drama had aired in Korea? That gets exhausting. And by the way, job and life situations were different then.

To be honest, back in the old days I used to wonder if being so fast would "spoil" readers and get them to start feeling expectations and entitlement. I contemplated right from the start about delaying the recap publishing by a day or two, just to prevent that, but I wanted to share the love. It appears, however, that the expectations have stuck.

Hanohano family name sounds really familiar. I lived in Lihue....my family still live in Hanamaulu.

Romanza is my favorite cd.....Misere is on it.

One of the events I used to enjoy when I lived in Waikiki was the lantern ceremony which used to start at the Ala Wai Canal....I lived in a tall condo so would stand on the lanai (balcony) to watch the different participants and my all time favorite were the taiko drummers. Oh how I love listening to those drums. then when it got dark the canoes would pull the lines of lanterns to the ocean. Really chicken skin time to see it. Now they have the ceremony at the Ala Moana Beach Park and thousands of people gather to participate. They come from all over the world...I think this month is the time for that ceremony.

Hope you had a good day at work and that you were able to share your smile and deeds to make someone's day very special!

Aloha!

Thank you, JB. For always being honest, forthright and commandingly yourself in every word you write. And so eloquent and to the point.

@ No More Drama

I hope JB provided the answer you sought. And perhaps clarified for you why your comment(s) elicited such a negative response. I try not to be a conformist, what was repulsive was not your differing opinion, but your sheer self-entitled manner in stating it. And the fact that your opinion was formed because you were sad that something you got enjoyment out of, which was given freely and with love and affection, was no longer readily available. Did you stop the consider the "freely and with love and affection" part of what you received? Because that forms the basis of why your complaint was what I call "ungrateful." And that is why you got a lot of bashing.

Rather than assume everyone ELSE is at fault, perhaps you should think first "did I say something wrong." Look inward, then cast blame elsewhere if you genuinely felt like you were right. Unfortunately, I find the responses your comment elicited were far too mild. It's really unnecessary to have spoken it unless you wanted to tell this site sayonara and perhaps beg JB to keep you by her promising to deliver recaps 10-12 hours after each episode airs [btw, that's what I call passive-aggresive behavior]. Sorry buddy, why should she do that? Her wonderful blog continues to evolve, and I for one feel blessed to be able to enjoy its growth and evolution, whether I personally like it or not. Because my feelings don't matter, this is JB's blog.

Okay, now that I understand your complaint it rankles less. But I would like to ask you to consider how it feels in the reverse situation, to be constantly working your ass off and then have a comment -- however small -- tossed out about how "You used to be sooo much better back in the day... I liked you when you were better, but it sucks now that it's different..." Tell me if that doesn't read as a passive-aggressive insult. It's an Open Thread, sure, but that means people can still choose to respond to you and I believe they responded to that subtext, as I did.

Yes...I found out he was blind the first time I watched him on PBS singing at a concert with Sarah Brightman and they interviewed him. I couldn't get over his voice and knew he would become the brightest tenor ever.....ironically, there's always another that will come onto the scene who has a voice that is richer than anyone else. I believe his range is what makes him incredibly special....he doesn't have a nasal sounding voice.

by the way....I must tell you that I agree with your observation of Sarah Brightman being touchy during that one concert. I was under the impression that she was trying too hard and to the point of looking ridiculous with her smile and adoring looks at him. I enjoyed the other female soprano who sang with him at that outdoor concert which Romanza was recorded.

Have a great day and back later to discuss the dramas of the day.....like OML!!!

Okay let's say I'm married and every Friday night my wife would cook me a steak dinner with all the fixings. Then we pop out a couple of kids and she has less free time so I'll get steak maybe once every couple of months but usually it's just dethawed frozen food. Now on one hand I understand her lack of time but does it make me a complete jackass to say, "gee, remember when you used to cook me steak every Friday, those were good times".

Or reverse I'm a wife and my husband used to always give me back rubs and show affection. Now he has a new job and is stressed so he doesn't show as much affection and hardly ever gives back rubs anymore. Isn't it natural to reminsce about the days when things were better without sounding like an unappreciative, ungrateful POS? I dunno, well if I offended anybody I apologize but on the bright side my sense of regret is just a reflection on how much I enjoyed your writing so you have that :)

To be honest, I don't think your examples support your claim so much, because I WOULD consider you rude. If my (fictional) husband said that, I'd hit him upside the head and tell him, "Go make your own damn steak." Other wives wanna weigh in on this? :)

Required fields are marked *

See I knew women would say exactly that. That's why I tried to throw in the other example as an alternative. Ok in that case woman and wives, don't complain if your significant other doesn't show as much obvious affection as he did in his courtship days, it doesn't mean he loves you less, just differently. Just because he no longer does some of the stuff that attracted you in the first place, it's not ok to mention it because you'll just be rude. If only all women would subscribe to this opinion the world would be a happier place.

See, and this is where I differ, because I don't respond a certain way "because I'm a woman." That's quite a narrow way of viewing the world, no? I respond because I find the gesture rude, not because I'm a woman and so I side with the woman.

And now we are talking in circles so I think it's safe to let this die now. I find your comments rude but understand where you're coming from, and you have made your sadness at the declining state of this blog (which is now only on par with dethawed frozen food, oh dear!) VERY clear.

Dear JB,
I can reassure you that this site is NOT on par with dethawed frozen food... far from it! And that it still remains and also becomes and will become for others one of the best k-drama/entertainment blogs ever. Scratch that. THE best k-blog!
But, if it makes you feel better, I think (and i hope I'm right that No More Drama had no intention of making a direct comparison with your site... rather more like an analogy? i don't even know if I make sense).
I really admire you for the way you responded to No More Drama: it was poised, strong, logical, and purely classy!
Like you, I think I understand where he is coming from but I feel that the way he expressed it was wrong, and even though unintentional, it was also rude, and showed ungratefulness.
He did apologize so that makes me less angry and a bit more understanding but I just wish that he could reflect and see where he went wrong... I mean, if a comment elicits so many responses, objections and negativity, it might mean that there was something wrong with it. If it was interpreted by a vast number of people as rude, then it was very likely worded rudely, or at least insensitively.

And to end all this discussion, let's just hope that you are not too down because of this and know that there are a whole lot of other people here who thoroughly enjoy your blog and that it certainly lightens up and improves my day in many ways. ^^

Cheer up! WE LOVE YOU!

side note: I agree, i would call the husband/wife insensitive or whatever and send him/her packing. lol

“On yer bike, pal. As lb_tmi cautioned, watch your butt–that door’s on a wicked spring! I feel a little bad for our soompi peers, though, who now have to endure this ungrateful schmuck”

it's always nice when ppl misquote me... and make me wittier than i am. ha! i wish i coulda come up w/ all that was in that quote. alas, the butt and door were the only things that were near my ramblings.. but it does sound a lot better throwing all the comments together like that.. more witty.. so thanks for the vote of confidence!!! i think i will take all the credit for that one! ;)

rude comments aside (and yes, they are rude), let's talk about CU10. ::::::::SPOILERS:::::::::
i'm thoroughly upset w/ the way CU9 ended and CU10 started. there was no flashback of the last scene in CU9... which has been a recurring thing in all episodes.. without this tool, the viewers are left w/ seeing DS grab his chest and collapse while KH just stands there. he JUST STANDS THERE!!!! i woulda put money on it that we would see the last interaction of KH and DS after the collapse and see KH redeem himself in DS' eyes.. and we didn't get that. instead, DS dies by the shock of KH's actions.. alone. that is too heartbreaking for me to understand how the writers could do something like that to DS. it's so cruel for a man so wonderful and sweet like DS to die alone and thinking the "adopted son" he loved could do backstab him like that.

am i the only one who thinks this is off???

and just to clarify... 2AM sings "a friend's confession" :)

wow... looks like you are having a good time! and yeah, this whole Andrea Boccelli, Josh Groban things is great! although my mother would say that they are just operratta singers, good but overhyped and that true gems are opera... She Is CRAZY about opera...
I like truly like both genre, and I love opera singers like Pavarotti or Kathleen Battle (that woman sure has an angelic voice even though she is a diva.. have you seen her rendition of Voices of spring.. splendid i would say) but operetta is "easier" or rather lighter to listen to.. we've been having this argument since forever.. lol

yeah, I agree that operetta is a lot easier to listen to. (and you don't have to keep one hand on the volume control all the time). On the topic of Josh Groban. . . I was listening to My December the other day and someone tried to say it was a Linkin Park/Fort Minor song! Hah! Those punk rockers? They *remade* the song! Needless to say, I quickly set this person straight.

so, v, are you in the United States? I'm trying to get an image of where people are. I know eiko's in Hawaii, and I'm on the west coast, I'm assuming you are too, right? unless its the mid-west . . .

yes...the computer has got to be the best invention since typewriters! :-)

My first computer was a laptop....I was looking for a word processor to do my snail mail....went to Sears and they had a Presario Compaq on sale. Asked about it and the sales guy said it was on hold....there was one left but the person who wanted it put it on hold in December and this was end of FEbruary.....his boss told him to sell it to me and they even gave me the sale price that Office Depot was advertising! Talk about a deal! I took it home and no idea what I was going to do....but darn if I didn't get myself connected to the internet within 2 hours after reading and testing. From then it has been history and I've learned by asking questions and doing the dummy books! now all the people I used to connect through snail mail are epals with quick connections. I still use a laptop....Toshiba.

I've never been into Opera kinda stuff....but I can appreciate the talent.

I must be last man on the totem pole to get some of the new episodes posted! Sighhhhh.....when they come through then it's constantly updating!

2PM has become my main obsession for the last year (OMG!!! it's been a YEAR already!!!), so i was pleasantly surprised to find their ballad brothers. i've since become a OneDay stalker in all related kpop and OneDay sites for my unguilty pleasure. fortunately, i have my teen daughter to spazz with.. and also fortunately for her stubbornness and tantrumness, she is going to see the Wondergirls concert w/ 2PM as the opening act. and guess who gets to take her? yep.. her awesome Mom!!! <<<that's me, btw. sometimes the "awesome" part throws ppl off. ha! so, if you gots a question about PM, just ask me.. i'll either 1-know the answer, or 2-know where to go to get the answer.

and yes, i do take compliments (even if they aren't for me or intended as such) because sometimes niceties are far and few inbetween..

@ PT kiss lovers

that screen cap by girlfriday just makes the desire in LMHO-MY-GOD look like he's so ravenous.. like he can't get enough of SYJ.. and it's so HOT!!! i bet babies are being simultaneously conceived all over the world because of that kiss!!! (aka belleza style)

haha. I guess some dreams are ageless! ;) I think if I ever had that chance, I would also go "weeeeeeee!!!!!" and squeal like a 10-year old at a Justin Beiber concert. (What do they see in him anyway? His first song totally confused me because he sounded like a girl, but the lyrics were singing *to* a girl)

@v:
"Dear JB,
I can reassure you that this site is NOT on par with dethawed frozen food"
beautiful. just beautiful :)

@staples
haha... don't worry about mixing 2PM and 2AM up... I used to do that too when they first debuted because I was watching their trainee days when they were still OneDay.

and about Josh groban/linkin park my december... i thought it was the other way around. I though it was josh groban that did the cover of linkin park??? because I have hybrid theory (and all the disc of linkin park too, and almost all of josh groban as well) and I remember listening to my december of linkin park before that of josh groban. i actually like linkin park. as a punk rocker group, i think they are quite decent but i like josh groban version better.

and yeah, i'm in central us... lucky you're in west coast. ^^ but i'll be sometimes in east coast for college. and sometimes france too.

and you like justin bieber? i don't dislike him but i thought he was overhyped?

@eiko...
lol... lucky you! the salesman was nice! i never tried a Toshiba laptop before.
I've used HP laptops, and then Dell was my first "own" laptop. my father owns one of those computers that have no cd players, only disc player but i've never seen him turn it on or I was too young to remember it.
I'm impressed with your diligence to learn how to use a computer. My father also buys and reads a lot of books for that and highlights them too and told me to do that too but I got scared away seeing how many pages there were.
I love books but not that sort of ones.. so I ended up not reading and learning properly.
and ur in hawaii?! that's so nice! my parents' honeymoon was in Hawaii but I wasn't born then (obviously) so I never got to go there.. recently, for my 18th bd, my mother wanted our whole family to got there and I was super excited and then the date coincided with my college entrance day -_-"
But it's in my top list of places to go. maybe we'll cross each other without knowing. lol
and hope ur dream will come true

haha... "awesome" looks like the right word for you. lucky daughter
and yeah, i'm a OneDay fan too! I basically stalk their news.. have you seen the new world cup cf for coca cola? well, it's not much really but the boys looks cheerful
and so lucky you're going to go to the concert!! i can't lie... i really envy you. lol
u know how the wonder girls were going to several H-mart events... well, one was where i lived and I missed it because i had to go out of town... out of all days.. TT
not that i think my parents would allow me to go... oh well, i love them anyways but allowing me to go to concert wouldn't be asking too much right? and i'm over 18 too!

Our dearest JB,
I REALLY wanted to write some comments,but decided that I have to wipe my barefeet clean before I head back to the dungeon to cook the raw meat/steak up so that when my master,my Lord comes home ,he can have his supper....
Wait...that was just a very bad nightmare that I had when I ate something bad...

Remember JB,this is your Kdramaland, and you're our Queen/Goddess, PLEASE use the BLOCK/DELETE button...We love you always...

ps to you-know-who-you-are:
I'm the NICE one in this OT...

@ 45 v

if you're ever this way....all you have to do is let me know and I'll find a way to say hello to you!

I used to read a lot of books....mainly they were self help books and used to meet with people.....small groups every weekend. I am more into non-fiction stuff....I like those profiling and police investigations. I was always interested in people....

Your journey is only beginning....you have much to experience....always remember that what you read in books cannot replace your own experiences. If you are diligent enough....keep a journal. I did that for my grand daughter who lives here on Oahu and I gave the book to her and she couldn't believe she said that or did that! Jogging the noggin sure made her laugh.

Hope you are enjoying Monday!

@ v

i have not seen the clip yet cuz i couldn't get on allkpop this morning before i came to work. i HATE how work impedes my obsessions stalking!!!
the daughter (she HATES when i call her that. haha!) doesn't think she's so lucky.. cuz mom couldn't come up w/ the $150 times 3 for the VIP tickets, cuz we're letting the niece tag along to keep Mom in check. i mean, if there are TWO teenagers against one Mom, Mom won't be so embarrassing, rite? (little do they know, the two of them ganging up on me only encourages me more. heehee) btw, the WG/2PM concert we're going to is Chicago *wink*

i know how much it sucks KNOWING that you missed 'em. my BIGGEST and LONGEST (since '92!) obsession will be in LA and NYC this month... and i can't go :( i mean, he's actually on the same continent as me, and i.can't.go. heartbroken. i'd actually trade 5million 2PM tickets to see him. LIVE. so.sad.<---times like these i daydream i'm single so i can 1--go and 2--see what happens when i go. lols.

@ cingdoc

you are way so sweet :)

Yes, would you believe? Actually only a couple have drawn the JG-IW comparisons so far.

You're right, with JG, we pretty much knew his deal straight away. And yes, IW is hands down the creepiest, most deceptive character in kdrama history. Even Mishil was honest!
I think IW has been twisted and hellbent on revenge, ever since his mother was killed when he was 13. But I'll go into that another time.

OMG!!! OMG! MY fave song from the the OST - and it's a special SJ-HR moments MV!
*SCREEEEEEEAM*
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8muW36-9oJU
(Although I didn't like his hair in that opening scene.)

@V
Hahaha! God bless Viikiiers!
I've noticed the sudden aggressive turn in pro-IW campaigning - it's IW mania over there and they've removed SJ from the Leading MEN - section + anywhere else on the PP homepage.
