Dramafever has hit our screens (albeit computers for most of us)!! seriously Wed.Thurs got me uber excited (yes my life very dull at the mo :( ) but nothing a bit of Kdrama or Two or Three or even Four can't fix! :D ^^

Was quite slow for mee--as a self proclaimed kdrama addict,i had to grit myself waiting for subbed dramas!!!!especially now that 3 new dramas debuted~

right now i'm watching jdrama sailor fuku to kikanjuu aka sailor suit and machine gun. it's about a schoolgirl who becomes the leader of a yakuza clan. everybody dies. \o/ it's amazing though!

Hi everyone. Happy Easter Weekend.

Here's my question. Do the korean dramas tend to use some standard songs for to highlight a happy or dramatic moment? I don't speak a lick of Korean except for the few handful of words and phrases that I now understand thanks to my avid watching of kdramas. I've noticed though that there are songs that sounds familiar and I'm thinking Ive heard them in past kdramas I've seen. I swear it's the same song but then I don't understand it enough to be actually sure.

So do tthe Kdramas use the same songs over and over again. Granted they put it in a different theme song per kdrama.

Pls help me understand?

Spent Thur night and all of Fri marathoning "The Last Scandal of my Life ".I couldn't tear my self away from the computer screen:-(.I wanted to watch it for a long time and found it online finally..When I was a kid, I used to think that movie stars used to live forever because I still saw them in movies even after they passed away.It is sad that the world lost such a brilliant comedienne so young but her work will always be remembered with a smile.

Such a lovable drama.I wish I had caught it sooner.Jung Jun-ho is so funny and clownish as Jae-bin and will just make you laugh out laugh with his silly antics.Choi Jin-shil was adorable as the ajumma.The chemistry between the duo was just great and they made such an amazing 'hate to love' each other pair.Added to my 'Dramas to hook people to Asian drama" list.-)

I can't wait for Personal taste to come out with subs.The recaps and the trailers make it look like another fun drama to watch.Curious to know why a lot of leading men in dramas nowadays are architects though.:-P

Random question -Any recommendations for Japanese dramas along the lines of Perfect Girl Evolution?

I'm watching Soulmate and was looking for the unofficial soundtrack (since the official is ridiculously inefficient lol). But, javabeans, the torrent at d-addicts is no longer available because people are no longer seeding it.

Javabeans, could you pretty please upload the songs the way you did for the Coffee Prince soundtrack? *gets on bended knees* I haven't been able to find all the songs any where else.

So my co-worker gave me these bottles of Korean liquor, one called bokbunjajoo (korean raspberry wine) and one moonbaesool. Now, the only korean alcohol that I'm familiar with is soju from watching all those drinking at the street stalls scenes in k-drama so not sure what to do with these. Are they drank straight out of the bottles like soju or do they need to be mixed with something else? How is the taste?

Yes! I was more on the Jeremy boat this time around--last time I did like him (esp the crying-singing) but I was riveted by his Prince Valiant hair. Now I would definitely want the Jeremy pogs!!

Speaking of music, I keep meaning to ask... Does anyone know anything about the group Reason Ave? They have one song on the Coffee Prince soundtrack and it's my favourite. When I was in Seoul last year I tried to find their CDs (tried a number of shops) but had no luck. The sales clerks didn't seem to recognize the name even. I would love to get more of their music, if anyone can give me some pointers on where to get it.

Now on a You're Beautiful marathon...I'm quite late to jump in but I'm currently on Episode 6, it is now making me smile, Jang Geun-seok and Jung Yong-hwa are so adorable...I love the drama's feel good vibe

Why does April have to be sooooo busy!? I mean, yes, I'm happy. So much to keep me entertained, but I'm going to get panda eyes from the lack of sleep! I slept at 2:30 am to watch Cinderella's Sister (AWESOME! AWESOME! AWESOME!) and woke up insanely tired today. Ahh, I had to watch my little nephew who always goes to my bedroom in the mornings to wake me up. GAHHHH.

"Emo (aunt), who's going to take care of me?" (Note: he's a living prince who likes to be spoiled. He doesn't even want to put a blanket on himself or feed himself cereal despite being 4. Direct Translation of comment: He wants me to be his slave.)

You see, when you have to hear that from a 4 year old with an insanely flower-boy face and cuddle you as he says that - you can't refuse. And than 10 minutes later he likes to rub his face against your "chubs" (any part of your body that's not bone-skinny is "chubs"), which is arms or legs, and says "I like your chubs -smiles-". GAHHH.

My mood is so... awful. I sound like a mean Aunty (Me + Kids = NO). Weather doesn't help either... It was freezing cold a few days ago where it was still considered Winter, and there was even a tornado and hail the other day. But BAM! it's Summer. Where's my Spring!? I adore Summer season to bits, but the transformation in seasons is too... quick. My spring clothes... *grumbles*

Okay, back to K-drama. Watched Cinderella Sister... and it blew me away. There's a special allure about it, except for Seo Woo's voice. Geez, I want to whack her, put her on a chair, and force her to talk NORMAL. Yet, her character seems so innocent and pure. I just... can't. All leads have such a charm, I had to repeat certain scenes over again (Chun's smile when he first meets Moon!)

Definitely adding this to the Must Buy DVD List. Muah.

Cinderella's Sister became kinda dull in Episode 2.

i was totally a Jeremy lover, more so than either TK or SW. i actually didn't feel much of anything for SW. there were only 3 instances that i felt for him, a little.. the seudo-date, the shadow scene, and the shoes scene. other than that, nope.. didn't feel bad for him. but i LOVED jeremy in EVERY scene he was in.. every time he ate something, i loved him more. the first bus scene he was awesome, and then he completely topped it w/ the second bus scene. LOVE HIM!!! and i did actually grow to like TK.. finally. :)
