How fun though.....and exciting! I used to work at a sign company on Waiakamilo and got to meet many workers and assorted people who worked on the different movies.

I heard about CostCo selling korean dramas....my aunt on Kauai goes there to check the stock and she goes to WalMart also.

I finally caught episode 13 of OBGYN.....and if you got all excited about 14 I have an idea I know why! Dang it....I kept getting the impression that both Seo and Lee were connected! I got the feeling that had he been around when her patient died....she would have cried seeing him! Remember the time they went to have a drink or whatever and she cried? That was the first time she opened up to him. And now she went for that walk and got invited for tea? I think that was intentional on her part cause she was missing Lee!

My viikii plug upgraded so now all the dramas with updates that weren't working are opening up! Can you imagine how happy I am to get caught up? DWL, P.S. Man,
Jejoowong, Because of You, Yamato, Nadashiko etc., and some others. I'm back on track now! hehehehehe....

I'm really missingi Stars Falling From the Sky (Wish Upon a Star)! I've already watched the last 2 episodes over again and keep searching for mv's on YouTube. Kim Ji-Hoon--wow, sigh. I tried watching Love Marriage b/c he's in it but the lead actress - her character is so annoying I just stopped. :-(

Eiko: I'm so glad you've almost caught up. As awesome as 13 was, you've no idea about the next-level-up of awesomeness in 14! Oh-em-to-the-geeee!

Some non-spoilery thoughts on the awesomeness of this episode:
(Oh! Did I mention, it is awesomeness?)

Admittedly i was only curious about this drama because of Song Joong-ki! If it wasn't for him I would never have had gone anywhere NEAR any drama with 'Gynecology' in its title.
It's only when I began watching it that I realised its... (wait for it) awesomeness.
The title can easily scare anyone off, understood. But then, I know now that kdrama titles are often a bit scary: Will it snow for christmas? -- case in point.

There's been a succession of very strong episodes, this one just happened to be that much better. Its EVERY moment was pure, shining gold.
To think I'd almost stopped watching it 20 mins in!! It came to a stomach-ulcer inducing, anxiety-filled scene with one of my fave characters. I was so overwhelmed I would've had dropped the drama entirely. I'm so glad I plucked up the courage (about 30mins later) to continue with the episode. It proved me wrong and was so rewarding, I needn't have worried.

Some funny moments from this episode:
- - The Karaoke; the entire part! All of them were hilarious, Ahn & Kim, head nurse & the other second year/Ahn's BFF rapping together and then when Wang and Lee (in their usual competitiveness) sing the duet cover of K. Will's love is not Far from the OST (this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=044A0eCMr7g), they're both singing their hearts out for 'someone' and that someone's on the couch in front of them - knocked out asleep. LULZ!

- The couple rings and the couple sneakers - chyaaahaaaahaaah!!
The look of horror on her face and the sexy big grin on his! Served!

- Omo! Dr Lee is one sexy mutha... guy! He's such a sexy guy! I still can't get over the events, I really can't!

Hope to see Sung Ji Ru reappear at some point in the last two episodes, he made such an impact in this show, and it will make sense if he does as his child is still in NICU, under Dr Lee's care. Would love to see him happy after he left us so heartbroken the first time around.

He told the fans in Mandarin: "You are beautiful." Then, he added, "Not real!" Haha! He also asked the fans, "Am I handsome?" But he pronounced like, "Am I unlucky?" That really cracks me up. When asked, "Who is your favorite Chinese actor?" He replied, "Jay Chou". Now, I love JGS even more!!

I did not like will it snow for christmas....i was so disappointed in Go Soo that I stopped watching it! I never went back to it....the whole drama was horrid!

I do miss Wish Upon A Star.....I've been watching episodes 19 and 20 and just love the way Kang-ha took that giant step for Pal-gang! Thanks to haraboji who told him to go to her. I was in tears with her when she walked up to KH and I could see her tears filling her eyes. And then when Pa-rang gave him thumbs up for being right about loving his sister.....PRICELESS!!!!

Honestly, before watching DWL, I did NOT like Jerry at all but after seeing all the bts with Ella, he's not bad anymore =P

Guys, I've just finished Still, marry me. I swear right until the very end I had no idea how it was going to end. Such an emotional roller-coaster! FYI, I loved this drama. Loved it to bits. Highly recced, guys. It definitely made it to my top 10. It's not the first drama I watch with a love story between an older woman/younger man (think What’s Up, Fox?), but so far? I think SMM topped them all. I'm going to spread the SMM love everywhere now.

Oh and yes, as mentioned in other threads, Kim Bum is much better as a noona-killer. ^^

AMCG certainly has some cheesy moments. I do get some good hard laughs. I am eager to see how ep.05 develops. I love all the spy equipments in Michael King's lare.

I'm surprised viikii hasn't provide this series. The Haru2subS team is English subbing this series, so you might find a site ignoring their disclaimer soon (hint: Google it) so viewers can watch online. You know, my hd is getting close to full, so I'm opt to do some Spring cleaning.

Oi vey....that GJP butler is just plain ole jealous in OBGYN. He just makes my skin crawl!

WISFC...I liked the acting....like the first few episodes with the young actors but after that it got so weird....what a dysfunctional group! Even Go Soo's character seemed so dark and he was doing the yin/yang so terribly I stopped following it.

I am practically going bonkers about OBGYN and episode 14! I'm not going to watch the raw version because it will only make my imagination go wild! I'm all ready wondering what the conversation was when Lee turned around to see Seo behind him and he looked happy to see her but she was cold towards him! And later at the elevator? Yikes....I don't mind spoilers cause I'll watch it in english sub anyway! hint....hint....

I'm newbie myself....but not that newbie. I just get curious and check things out and have met people who are hooked and share stories, etc. Makes for fun time and sure beats american soaps! I'll go back to watching Wish Upon A Star when I get a new TV soon....it's playing on our local station and that's one drama I don't mind following again!

Okay....I had a good laugh with episode 6 of DWL.....when Jerry finds out Ella isn't a lesbian and it's funnier how he finds out! I guess now it's on to that party and when I watched the raw version....I know he was in tears when he was going back later.

Okay Supah! I went back to OBGYN episode 13 and the last scene....that's where I missed Lee returning and Seo's cold response to him in the lobby of the hospital! Oi vey....what a woman! Her personality reminds me of Joe Chen in It Started With A Kiss....where he was so darn indifferent to Ariel but it was all because he had never had the experience of a relationship before and firstly, didn't realize he loved Ariel and then, that he was jealous. Sighhhh.....Seems like Seo has the same problem about expressing that feeling towards Lee....but she seems downright mean to him! A telling clue about her feelings though....the fish soup!

hehehehe....i might be going gibberish and it's because I want to see episode 14 now!!!!

I just watched the last episode of WISFC,and I'm sure glad the recaps are here so that I know what happened. TAN-TV,which is how we watch Kdramas, decided to end the show at the scene where JiWan was sleeping at Mrs Cha's house. What? they just flashed a "Thank You for watching this show" message,and that was it. That was pretty lame,TAN.

Where do I find the time? Well, it helps that most of the drama are current so I can only really watch one or two ep. a week. I would really rather wait until a drama finishes, but following a current drama acts as a time controller for me. Of course, even so I am sitting in a study that needed to be cleaned for weeks, my laundry waiting to be folded, I really should clean my kitchen as well and another millions things that really should be done...

I am just sort of glad I am past the time when I first discovered Korean drama. I won't go into details on how crazy that was...

I got caught up on Down with Love. Oh, my. I really wasn't a fan of either Jerry or Ella, but they are really good in this. I think Jerry even made me go googly eyed a few times. The comic timing are really well done. The restaurant scene where Ella helped Jerry alone made me laugh like a crazy woman.

Isn't DWL fabulous! I've been following it from the beginning and got kinda ahead of myself and watched up to episode 14 RAW version. I was laughing just watching the expressions on their faces....but now watching with english subs...it's totally not what I thought the dialogue might be so it's even more enjoyable. Expressions on their faces don't give a clue as to what's going on.....except for that fantastic kiss scene later on!

I'd never seen Ella or Jerry before so don't have any pre-conceived thoughts....am glad because I can appreciate anything that I check on from now.

The Lee and Seo pairing has similar dynamics as that of Ahn and Kim (in earlier episodes). You're right about 'playing hard to get'. While Kim was honest about liking Ahn and in return he treats her like dirt and ultimately dumps her (ep. 3) we know now that he had a lot of issues but it was cruel to have her pay the penalty. it's only when she acts as though she's moved on in her life that he finally stops taken her for granted.
Here we have Lee all sincere and Seo being the snob. And yes, we all know why she is that way -- her life's a mess. The first episode still depresses me somewhat, because her character had hit rock bottom at that point, before the big ball of sunshine that is Lee walked into her life and kind of rescued her from the doom and gloom that her life could've been.

My Ahn and Kim are still the best though. I'm also elated that we've finally established what was troubling my dear Ahn! (one of my earlier guesses was right.)

I started laughing the minute he turned to face her and kept looking right at her....he's a darn good actor cause I could read the expression on his face that he was in love with her and was gonna seize the moment.

I just got through watching 10th episode of the Japanese drama Yamato, Nadashiko, Shinichi and Henge.....that was really cute....it's finished. Those actors are actually singers....all really good looking guys.

Vanness' Brit accent must be newly acquired, he grew up on SoCal so his Brit accent is what I call the Madonna accent. :-)

Black & White movie news - director discusses how Mark's role will be more physical and Mark's going back into training. Director references specifically Lethal Weapon and Bad Boys as his inspiration for the visual effects of the movie. I'm already a tad worried, coupled with ongoing rumors the Zai Zai Vic is still not talking to Mark after his Golden Bell win, and that Vic isn't even signed on for the movie yet as he refuses to so so until he gets a script, plus every interview with the director he only talks about Mark......ai yah, guys please make up and go make a kick ass movie. Sigh, even if a nugget of truth that Vic was disappointed Mark won, the chemistry may be destroyed and never to be replicated again. I sad. Drama ended clearly set up for the movie.

Good news tho - Ethan and Mark's movie Monga (i.e. Taiwan's answer to HK's Young and Dangerous movie franchise) made bucket loads of movie. Mark's on fire, too bad it doesn't look like he'll do another drama anytime soon. I miss Pi-zi and Yin-xiong.

^ ^ Thanks "yenchen" for sharing that hilarious clip of Vanness Wu and Philip Ng. It's good to know Vanness has good people like Philip to keep inspiring him being a better person. Vanness does have near perfect American accent, and as for his British accent, well, a barrel of laughs (x2). It's like watching the Discovery Channel documentary where all the narrators/hosts have crisp English accents.

Gawd knows he had not so great friends getting himself in trouble, I see here in L.A. when he's rolling in Audi's and Hummer's or Lexus' which just hurts my eyes. All those bothered by post comment errors (i.e. "undefined" remarks), in truth, a cause to such error happen when a flood of comments post, trafficking thread, occur. When you receive such error, your comment wasn't posted, simply copy [ctrl+c] your entire comment (thank goodness it wasn't lost, right?), refresh the page (like start anew), paste [ctrl+v] it back in a comment box, and finally submit comment. It should work fine.

I hope that answers some puzzled minds. I don't want your freedom thoughts to go to waste. So I took a little time to explain it so. Hope that helps.
