i've never been to the ocean. (technically, it was the Gulf of Thailand i was at) so any experience will be awesome. i can't wait to walk the beach barefoot! need to make sure i bring some sand home for my collection!!

hello! I have read only the first book in the Tales of the Otori "Accross the Nighangle Floor" I thought it was pretty awesome. I also looked up the book "Secrets of the Jin Shei" and the cover is very beautiful. it looks intersting I might read it.
If you are intersted in fantasy that takes place in a medieval Japanese setting Paladin by C.J. Cherryh is very good.

Yeah I am going to watch a few more eps before deciding if it's crap or not, but I have a feeling it might be a "Sweet Spy". By that I mean that the drama borderlines passable, but you stay for the actors.

The thought occured to me that in episode 18 of WUS....had Jae Young seen how Kang-ha and Pal-gang were holding on to each other she would have gone ballistics! She was freaking out when she saw the two there at the hospital and not even right next to each other!

By the way....a remark was made earlier about how couples bicker and argue....I've noticed in the dramas that when they do that....it's like a sure sign of them liking each other. And another thing that always makes me chuckle is when the lead actor is driving his car and makes a sudden U-turn.....it would be something if one drama will have an out right crash.

Aaahhh....drama world is really what dreams are made of!

Hello! Weather? It's getting better. It's going to be a lot warmer from today on, I've read. Exactly, I buy Prada purses and shoes and other stuff every 2-3 years to keep myself updated exclusively for my time in Japan. Back in So. Cal, I'm a backpack/sneaker kind of person, hahaha. And also, my girlfriend and I went to power shopping in Ginza yesterday. But nothing expensive. Unikuro is in rage! My goodness, everything is so cheap. Cheaper than Gap! Except, their jeans aren't cut that flattering....

Classic phrase to say for "I don't understand English" is "Nihongo wakarimasen". They are usually nicer to non-Japanese speakers over here.

i have sand from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Orlando, FL; Flagstaff, AZ. but those were all collected for me by friends. the two places i've been: Las Vegas and Thailand, i was so caught up in being there that i didn't get any sand before i left. i guess that just means i have to go back to get the sand for my collection. that's why i HAVE to remember sand when i visit MS.

I really, really hope it doesn't. For one thing, the storyline seems interesting (reversed cliché? I SO want to see how TPTB develop that). For another, the actors kick ass...I can't say anything on Taecyeon yet, but 1)who knows? Maybe he'll surprise us, 2)Moon Geun-young is usually great and I wouldn't want to see any of her projects fail and 3)Chun Jung-myung TOTALLY deserves a great comeback after serving in the military. Just for #3, I hope the drama is good.

I don't know understand why anyone would wish a project to tank just because one doesn't like the cast? 0_o

i tried and tried my hardest watching it but i kep fastforwarding some parts
mainly the action and boring exercise etc etc
the concept of the young boy losing his father and taking revenge of those who killed him while using a disguise to lure them in and also he is a SPY

very hard to watch and at the moment, dont really know if i watch anymore

so unable to watch JEJOONGWON, CHUNO, BIRTH OF A RICH MAN

jejoonwon has been good, i like medical mysteries and drama
chuno i believe is finish and will be waiting for subs when its ready, i wonder how it will end cos im at ep 16 and dont really see how this will end with un nyun and daegil characters,
birth of a rich man is a light hearted drama and the first 2 eps hooked me, classic korean with poor girl and rich and tight boy but IN THE REVERSE
unfortunately viikii needs some licensing approval and i dont think ill be able to watch it again cos AUSTRALIA DOESN'T SEEM TO BE THAT LIST, just like chuno, creating destiny .... (i watch chuno thru another website)

anyway i having some withdrawal symptoms and when the new adam couple comes us with subs, i will be waiting patiently

Well, I tried a test run of actually singing it, but I found out that I'm one of those persons who singing voice turns out different once you hear it from another perspective (read: recorded)...and I want something in the quality of PSH's voice...
Um, not a singer but I'm a hidden (read: secret from my parents, who are totally against the idea) member of my college choir...a translator but just for fun, and when I normally translate (esp. English -> Filipino), I like the actual term...about writer, hmm, I once wrote poems, but stopped since my mom threw the notebook which contained my poems since 2007...

Lol! as well. I'm a bit overworked... It's been a lot of fun as much as exhausting. So, over all it's a good thing.

My girl friend and I went to Taiwanese massage yesterday in Ginza area yesterday. OMG! It was great. I got a foot and body massage for an hour and half. So heavenly. Nice to be pampered once in a while for sure.

I saw the preview for the new K drama with Cha Rim and a super cute guy, It'll be on my to watch list. Oh, by the way Jeajeong of DBSK is going to be on some sort of J- drama this spring season. I wonder what it's gonna be like?

Also....it's very annoying....but all of the updated episodes on Mysoju since yesterday that are being posted through VIIKII are BROKEN! :-(

I've also checked advanced RAW episodes of certain episodes and it's totally not what I thought since I don't understand korean.....it was a relief to see episode 11 of OBGYN with english sub titles! Now I'm anxious to see 12 and find out the doctor's reaction to a confession by the 2nd male lead.????? And I hope the final episodes for Wish Upon A Star won't be by VIIKII or it's gonna be a BUMMER!!!!

I WANTED SO BADLY to see Ninja Assassin for Bi and when I did, I was like...............

Are you serious? Dragged my friend to go watch with me and I had to keep apologizing to her for the quality of the film afterwards. -_-

Then I went online on youtube and found this AWESOME training video of his for the movie. He was so good. That made me think the directing and editing screwed up. All the blood splatter took away from the awesome fighting moves Bi trained so hard to accomplished.

Sigh. At least we had the body. haha.

Now that Pasta has finished and WUAS entering its final week, it's a filler period for me before the next crops of 'very-exciting-but-please-do-not-disappoint' dramas.

So, I find myself watching OBGYN which is surprisingly very engaging for (a) the main story line of this outstanding and no-nonsense O&G doctor facing her very own O&G dilemma and (b) interesting and difficult medical cases in each episode. I was hooked 30 minutes into the drama due to the main storyline although that plotline has somewhat slowed down in the last 2 episodes.

Although we all like second male leads, this is the first time I really root for the second lead played by Seo Ji-seok. I started rooting for the handsome first male lead (Go Joo-won whose wooden acting is also a factor tipping the scale unfortunately). However, over the course of 12 episodes, I gradually fall for the second lead, just like that character's slow realisation that his friendship with Jang Soo-hee's character as the female lead - aka '9 End 2 Outs' - could mean something else.

So much so, I now want to watch Seo i-seok's Pure 19 but it is a 100+ drama, plus I'm no fan of GHS. Any comment from Pure 19 watchers as to whether it's worth the time investment??

A special mention has to go to Yang Hee-kyung who plays JSH's mom. She is your all-time evil and annoying mother-in-law (the latest being Creating Destiny). Here, she is an absolute hoot and I am secretly anticipating her turn for the last few episodes. Her character provides much-needed laughters among the gut-wrenching human dilemmas shown in each episode.

Also, any Down with Love lovers here? I am re-watching DWL scenes/episodes every other day for the wonderful PingGuo chemistry.

I've only seen the cuts of the two first episodes and I've fallen already in love with this couple. I hope to see more of them, but must wait for English subs to be available.

I wonder what they must think or feel when these two often cross paths at the numerous music shows they are in. I too feel sorry for Jin Woon.

I've have also been following the Adam/Petite couple; mostly for Jo Kwon.

I am also watching " Hyung Joon Becomes a Progamer". Eventhough I don't care much for video games (never played them), I am enjoying this show a lot. HyungJoon Baby is too funny and sweet.

@98 epyc I LOVE Down With Love! Jerry Yan and Ella Chan are absolutely lovable together! Also enjoying OBGYN....yeah...I think 2nd lead is finally seeing he doesn't have much of a chance "romance" wise....30 year friendship is a bit much I think! I haven't been able to watch episode 12.....does Ko Joo Won get on the plane? It looks like he's having second thoughts!!!! I hope the resident Dr. gets his act together and makes a grab for that gal.... I did see the stairwell scene and the kiss there.

Anybody know why VIIKII is still down? Very frustrating cause its been down from yesterday. :-(
