I liked the last poster (it looks beautiful!), but the other posters looks cheesy and looks like a parody of Rambo, Batman, 007, Mr. & Mrs Smith, etc...

Cheesy poster designs aside, I kind of like how he looks in those pictures where he has bangs covering his eyes and so on! He actually looks quite good. I hope he doesn't keep his hair brushed up too much, because it's a bit too Receding Hairline for me, but at least it's better than what we saw in the b&w stills!

those muscles are impressive anyway and it well be nice to see Han Chae-young in a leading role once again in a tv Drama.
Be interesting to see if they can do a 'serious' drama off a manhwa or we will end up giggling when we shouldn't. Or if they know this and try for a mix of hard core with laughs in between....perhaps the best approach if done right.

the posters - the face in the first one reminds me of that guy in Temptation of Wolf (sorry his name escape me atm)

I'm not liking his look. Goo Joon Pyo hair should stay on Goo Joon Pyo. And you can't play larger than life characters in pants that are too short. It looks more like a parody than anything else.

I think they just wanted to make him androgenic like all those japanese actors whose looks anorexic and girlish. it is interesting. i gonna have a look on this drama as I read the manga

I've only seen this guy in Terms of Endearment, he looks mighty fine there but somewhat scary in these posters. Hope the actual scenes are as scary

iam a big il kook fan. followed him in all those jumong episodes and kingdom of the wind. i like the ramboo posters but im not getting the james bond. he is too thin. and i dont get the hair.

I'm going to have to watch this, at least the first couple of eps. It just looks like a goldmine of snark opportunities.

Batman with a high-powered rifle? Is he gonna be yet another person who's so bent on vengeance that he becomes a criminal himself?

And I think the pics have been photoshopped. Fan pictures I've seen of the shoot in Hawaii don't show him as having this much mass and definition.

And what's Rain got to do with it? Lots of other guys have better bodies: Bae Yong Jun and Lee Byung Hun to name just two.

Holy Sh* man that body is yummy...I so hope that Han Chae-Young has improved her kissing skills!!! In the last dramas I saw her she looked utterly disgusted at the idea of kissing. I haven't seen Song Il-gook in a drama before, so I'm actually mildly agitated.

I got it, and I'm sure many other DBers will get it. Yes, he's sporting the Jerry Yan circa MG hair. It's still godawful 10 yrs later and on SIK's head.

1. Superficial comment #1: apparently, you CAN be too cut. SIK crossed that line for me in these pics, but if he's mostly covered up in the drama in nice outfits, it won't make me cringe each time I see the rippling musculature. I feel like he's modeling an anatomy class.

2. Superficial comment #2: HCY looks self-aware and trying to hard to be a sexy femme, which only highlights criticism that she's all looks and no substance. I like her as down to earth gals in Only You and DGCH, where her attributes don't compete with her character as much.

3. Superficial comment #3: Kudos on delivering so many different posters, but it all serves to muddle the gist of the drama, is it Dick Tracy meets Batman? Is it Korean Rambo? It is God of Gamblers IV? I don't know, and am confused in not a good curious way, just in a weirded out kinda turned off way.

Wow, I had nothing substantive to say in my comment, being so superficial is really quite an appalling trait of mine. Sorry guys! I'll go brush up on my Milton, Voltaire and Dantes and promise to return with philosophical comments in the future. :-)

poor Song Il Gook...they mess him up a lot....don't like the new image at all...and I am not impressed with the poster...I hope the drama is good though...because I really like Song Il Gook as an actor...I've seen all his dramas and films...well, almost all at least....so, I'm looking forward to this drama...
