let's celebrate JGS including his quirkiness in style. i actually like that he doesn't fit the norm since i definitely think he's above that. his style is something not a lot of people can pull off, much less a guy at that. i'm sure that as he matures, his styles will also grow with him..

i actually appreciate his style. i don't know if it is HIS style or if it is his stylist, but i like it when people take risks with fashion and just have fun/humor with it. which is what he seems to be doing. it's definitely not his most flattering look, but he does things his own way. like mk olsen, who is my style icon haha

He is still adorable. I can forgive him for a whole lot with that smile.

As much as i love jgs, i do not love the fashion.

In one of JGS’ interviews I think he said something like he changes clothes around 3 times or so before going out if he’s not happy with what he’s wearing. He has such a crazy, flamboyant sense of style – almost as if he doesn’t care a damn about what people think of him. And somehow amazingly he’s always able to carry off his whacky outlandish clothes with his charm and charisma. And that’s why he ROCKS! :-D At least no one will ever find him boring, which is a good thing when you’re in showbiz.:-)

But I can’t stand it when he resorts to wearing a raccoon or some other furry creature’s tail on his shoulder. That fugly ‘thing’ has to be kicked out of his closet ASAP:-S

Let me narrate what happened:

1. I decided to check the dramabeans site before I sleep.

2. Squeal excitedly at the sight of a new Jang Geun Suk-related article posted on the homepage.

3. Continue grinning stupidly in front of the screen, until...

the site finished loading the image, and I saw that picture of him.

OH.THE.HORROR.

I swear I was so close to choking on my spit. Jang Geun Suk oppa, as much as I love you, you have to, YOU HAVE TO GET RID OF THAT HAIR AND OUTFIT!

I don`t know....i think he kinda look sick, his eyes are a bit swollen...poor guy!! So many things to do, but so little time to rest...

About his choice of clothes, i got to say, i admire him! He`s brave enough to wear "out of the box" clothes,,,he`s couture designers favorite boy!!

From looking at the calender, I realized that he is a smoker,, ehh, what a turn off- TK would never smoke because he would think it was illogical to do so because it can cause cancer....the only thing I think of when an actor smokes is that when he does the kissing scenes, it must be like tasting a cigarette- hopefully JGS freshen up before he has to kiss PSH in the drama

Hhhhmm...he should get a stylist. Or maybe stop trying to be so damn trendy? I find that a lot of celebrities dress super badly whenever they're trying to be fashion-forward, trendy, quirky, etc. that doesn't really fit their personality (obviously b/c when they wear the clothes, it's weird in an uncomfortable way. But Lady Gaga pulls it off because she is weird, hence, it works for her. Only my opinion).

He should gain some of that weight back too b/c I don't think a guy should be that skinny...

LOL. From the many comments, I can see there are 2 major reactions

1. Can't stand his fashion sense but at the same time, can't help but love him
2. Appreciate and admire the fact that he has the self-confidence and "don't care about what others think of his fashion style" attitude enough to wear the most atrocious clothes or have the weirdest hairstyles.

For me, much as I hate those clothes/hair/makeup, I do think that JGS is a good enough artist that he is able to do as he please (with his wardrobe and looks) without worrying about how negative others will think of it. Surely the fashion sense of Korean fans/media can't be any different from the rest of the world and they will be criticizing him for his various odd dressings. Therefore, to be able to appear in the public in those get-ups and still be so positively popular is a sort of testament to his skills as an actor and entertainer.

For such a pretty guy he has horrendous fashion.

This jacket is great.- he has the most lovely smile... just make you feel good to see it, like Matsumoto Jun - I think it has to do with sincerity.

Seeing him smile at the fans made my heart warm... *heartfelt sigh* and the hair cease to matter... ^-^

At first glance his "quirky" style is a bit much. But then you look past his hair and clothes and you can't help but feel the happiness in his eyes and the warmth of his smile. So you register a second look, and think "actually, although I may not like the clothes, but on him, its kind of sexy...or maybe his charisma overshadows the fashion mishaps." Thus, you-- or I at least feel charmed all over again. Jang Geun Suk can't do anything wrong in my book. Like they say, "love is blind." I will forgive all his faults :P

When I saw photos from the signing event..I rolled my eye and think .... What's up with the hair? And that's when I realized ..
