anyways....i don't know what to think since i don't know LBH personally..but what a sad story..crazy as it may sound.. suing ( superstar or not ) a guy for not keeping his marriage promise..i can't help but feel bad for the girl...if in fact she got screwed over by LBH...

If its about taking side, i pity the girl. U can imagine what she is putting as stake just reading at these negative views. I predict LBH is going to come out clean and more famous. I am a big fan of him too, i have manage to watch most of his works and will continue to do so. On other side can't imagine being that girl. She is only 22 and very mad and hurt after being dump. We do crazy things in that situation. Can't imagine how naive i was when i was that age. As a woman i think it totally unfair to judge her so negatively. We may have a genuine case out here. Why people say that the girl is naive? Can a naive girl manipulate the Korean law which is foreign to her? According to the news that I've read, there is a man who was introduced to her through a woman, and this man admitted he wanted to help her out. How suspicious here!

Also, why says that she has abandoned everything to come to Korea, as if she has sacrificed everything for LBH? According to the news, she was even on a competition tour to Russia this June before coming to Korea to meet LBH.
As she had to go abroad for competition from time to time, she must have got used to foreignness. So don’t put it like she is a pity little girl helpless in a foreign country.

And why eeww LBH for dating a 22-year old girl? Is it sinful by dating a much younger girl, is it only for sex? Oh my! Yes LBH is 39, but a 39-year old man can have a young heart, as most people do. A mature woman/girl is as dangerous if she has malicious intentions. Back to this 22-year old Kwon, I saw her pictures on a web and she looks like 25-28 years old with her cosmetic on. She doesn’t look simple and naïve there.

And why judge LBH as a tomcat? I once thought that he was gay as there was no romance around him for years except his ex Miss Song. And I believe that he was serious with this Kwon at first as he introduced her to his family and friends. Maybe after a few months of closer contact he found her not suit him and so he ended up the relationship.

And Kwon claimed that she was neglected after coming to Seoul. C’mon, is it not the time that LBH was filming IRIS round-the-clock? Probably Kwon was needy for attention and LBH could not take it and so he quit.

The only wrong thing LBH has done is that he is too keen to get married (he spoke of it in numerous interviews), too hurriedly to start a relationship, and too stupid not to finishing the relationship well.

BTW, Charles Darwin used Duchene in one of his book called The Emotions of Animals and Men. In that book you can see Charles Darwin shows a lot of pictures of a funny guy stimulating his facial muscles with an electrode. That guy is not an actor, but Duchene!! ^__________^

I do not think anyone of them is a victim. So, no poor him or poor she. Both plays with fire and got burned. So, they have to take self-responsibility and no putting blames on each other and get into a suing and counter-suing games.

Mind you, I have seen so many of similar cases over the past years. This type of game has never generated any win-win scenario, may be temporariy victory to a certain party, but ultimately both party lost heavily emotionally, mentally and financially at the end. The better way is using the AFL Code.

AFL Code: "Acknowledge" the mistake or poor judgment, settle out of court (may be through restorative justice and "Forgive" each other), rather than holding on the grundge.. Finally "Let Go" and move on with life!! It is of course much easier to say than done. So, it is a test of LBH heroic stance and true personality, rather than just merely as projected on screen. Rambo vs. Ramboo is is the test he is now going through.

when i read the title of this, i didn't know that i already knew this story. while g.i joe was in theaters, i was in canada. my cousins live there and one day we were talking about the korean actor. she mentioned that her friend was dating him. i didn't believe her at first, but what she had told me basically is what this article is summarizes.

when my cousin first told me the story, it started out as they met each other in a different city at a film festival. he fell for her, but she was more into her career. he asked her to move to korea with her to fulfill her dreams and so she did. that's all i could say. i'm not saying my information is accurate, it's up to the reader to believe me or not.

anyways, i don't really think neither of them are at fault. i mean, she should have been wiser and so should he. i might favor LBH a little more since i know a little more, but what she said he did isn't right. i think they really brought it upon themselves and no one is really gonna win, but i do agree with LBH. the REAL truth will come out in the end.

The problem as someone rightly pointed out is - Korean artistes and their mgmt companies tend to maintain a squeaky clean image. The truth is, some of them are anything but squeaky clean. I don't know if LBH is guilty as charged of being a philanderer - I would not be surprised if he was.

As the cliche goes, there is no smoke without fire. I'm inclined to think LBH did lead her on in some way(s), and she moved to Korea without much thought after falling head of heels in love with him (who wouldn't?) He was in a foreign land, probably looking for some thrill/excitement (as most of them do) and both got carried away by their emotions. But for her to pull a lawsuit stunt is just plain dumb, at the end of the day, it is his lawyers who could walk away the winners
Something tells me he was just having his fun with her and did not intend for it to turn serious / warrant marriage. His IRIS co stars like JJH coming out to " defend " him does not help either
