I`m happy that CH stars won, but for me KSA deserve the TOP EXCELLENT award for her performance in CH. I saw most of the episode of Shinning inheritances and I would say that Go Hae ( the actress who portrayed this role) is much better than Kim Mi-sook acting, How much more if you will compare her performance to KSA?!
Rating is really a big factor. So, I hope KSA next drama will be a hit.

CSW and KSA are still the BEST couple, with or without awards.
Even last night it was proven, I wish they can collaborate in a movie!

I only watch Korean Awards Show for the first time this year, and for an awards show, SBS sure are more entertaining than MBC ( i only saw these two..). They even have their actors and actresses to participate in singing..And i like how they`re introducing the dramas that they have this years, collections from violence scenes to romance (many kissing scenes!!). And all the actors and actresses seem to enjoying themselves. And with JGS as the host, the shows is so much fun!! Although too many awards were given, i like that SBS treasures the dramas they have. Congrats to all the winners!!!

Yes, there is an awards show for ALL dramas and movies, it's called the Baeksang, and it airs in March. It's the Emmy/Oscar's of Korea. These end-of-the-year station drama awards are more employee thanks and congrats. Still cool in my opinion, just taking everything with a grain of salt.

Congrats to Jang Seo Hee for being Daesang winner! She's absolutely amazing!
I prefer her with longer hair too though, like in Cruel Temptation. :) But anyway, CONGRATS! Eun Jae is one of the greatest character of all time.

Thank you soo much for this.. I wish I could watch this award show even if was just to ogle at the eye candy.. =P

Han Hyo Joo seemed so awkward up on stage. She should really take some classes on public speaking. I mean, you go up for an award, you should be able to thank some people who have helped you without looking like a deer in headlights.

I wonder how they chose the best couple awardee? I am quite disappointed, anyway it was great to see again the AN Jell Group. To me, the best couple will be no other than Jang Geun Suk and Park Shin Ye. I hope that they could work again in another great romantic drama. JANG GEUN SUK ......... congrats and also the rest of You're beautiful cast.

Thanks for the A.N.Jell clip! I play the drums and can recognize that Hongki is playing it for real. It's an exceedingly simple drumbeat, so anybody who is part of a band like Hongki is for F.T.Island, can easily fill that in. :)

I did not know that most of the drama that i have watch throughout the year was from SBS. I guess that's the cases for online viewers. I am happy with the awards, its good to see the drama that i have watch getting an awards. I am glad So Ji Sub won an excellence award, he truly deserve it. Waaaaaoaa my fav of the year Brilliant Legacy won so many awards.

But what i don't get is, I understand the part where the station house are hosting there own awards ceremonies. What i don't get is will there be another award ceremony like the Golden Globe, where all the best of the year TV series will be included.

more teens watch the K drama no wonder JGS won in YB. Anyway congrats for the winner. Tell the true the best drama I ever watched is CH. Bravo for CSW and KSA.

Anyway, at least Kim Sun-ah and Cha Seung-won won best couple and were definitely the most glamourous people of the night.

Totally thought that ksa and csw deserved the best couple and top excellence acting award sighhhhhh but I'm still glad they got awRdz they Are my favorite couple congrats to them they stole the show with there hotness:) my gosh csw is hot and ksa is gorgeoussssss I hope she makes a big comeback in a 2010 dramaaaaa like mnikss:)

I'm truly thankful that SBS view their year end award ceremony as a time for rewarding those who deserve to be rewarded. If they had focused purely on ratings, some of the dramas would not have registered a blip.

However, I do wish they had come up with better names for their categories...eg. Special Production?! Drama Special?! How unimaginative plus they don't make a whole lot of sense.

I'm so happy for KSA and CSW.

Like most everyone else, I really enjoyed the A.N.JELL performance. I laughed at how into it JGS was, like you said. PSH's huge, adorable smile, when JGS came out on stage and scolded her, instantly put a smile on my face. I think she's a beautiful girl (gorgeous with long hair) and, from what little I've seen of her real personality, she seems like an even more beautiful person on the inside.

FYI, A.N.JELL is definitely not playing their instruments. However, if it's any consolation, JYH is playing all the correct chords and he even played the solo correctly, right down to the timing of the notes. From the flavor he was adding to the solo it looks like it would've actually sounded better, and it would've been that much more of an enjoyable performance, if his guitar was plugged in. It's too bad that it wasn't though.

Lee Min-jung is my current "can't-breathe-right-when-I-see-her, wished-I-lived-in-Seoul-and-was-in-the-Korean-entertainment-biz-so-I-could-meet-her-at-least-once, want-her-to-be-the-mother-of-my-children" crush at the moment. Do I got it bad? Noooo, not at all. In my eyes her stunning beauty is near perfect but I was a little disappointed in her dress. I was expecting, or more so hoping, she was going to wear something that would show off more of her lovely, healthy figure. She still looks good, but, like you said, her dress does look somewhat plain.

Wow! Love the A.N.Jell performance. PSH is very lovely with her red gown or white outfit. I have no problem with the fake furs. All 4 members are so stylish.

JGS and Moon Geun-young are also well-matched. Hope that they can perform in the same drama in the future. MGY's hairstyle is great but she is so very thin....

I like JGS's outfits in the Melon Music Awards. I like his white suit better than the red/black one in this SBS drama award show. But anyway, he is more "normal" in the recent events. So less "surprise" on his looks should serve both him and his audiences better. Wishing him all the best in 2010. I am waiting for his next drama/movie.

I cannot recognise Han Hyo Joo. She is more beautiful in the drama than in these evening gowns. Maybe it is because of the make-up.

Han Hyo Joo looked a lot like Song Hye Gyo ~ I vaguely realized this when I watched Brilliant Legacy, but the resemblance was undeniably there when I saw Hyo Joo's snapshots for that night. Or maybe it's just me? ^^

I loved, loved, loved seeing A.N.Jell together one more time!!! I only had eyes for Jung Yong Hwa... too bad they weren't playing live ~ he's always so into it when he's performing onstage. I thought the nod thingy he did with Moon Geun Young was cute (there he goes again with his 'audience' rapport, one of the reasons why I find him so especially attractive during his performances!).

@ 47 Nom_Kitteh: I felt the same way after JGS made his grand entrance for the A.N.Jell performance. Ooh, how I miss those three, especially Wang Coordi! ^^

@51Jastinel, I'ts okey to voice out your frustration. I'm kind of disappointed myself. Should have been Kim Sun Ah who truly deserved the top excellence award, and so with best couple award. If rating is what they think the main factor and not acting skills, then so be it, main thing is, I'm so happy that Kim Sun Ah and Cha Seung Won were together again and even stole the spotlight as the most glamorous couple of the night. Korean Brangelina and most powerful couple? agree with you 1000% #22 ashbeanie! Anyway, still CITY HALL is the #1 drama of 2009 forever and beyond!!!!

okay, did anyone notice when they were handing out the awards and JGS hugged his male costars but kind of ignored Park Shin Hye? She looked a little lost like why isnt he hugging me too? I dont know but it seemed he was purposely ignoring her, were they dating at one point and broke up??? Curious-
also, did you see the ring finger on Jang Geun Seok? I have a hard time finding out information on him but is he married now??

I love Lee Min Jung's dress when she was singing the OST. And I love how she flirted a little with So Ji Sub in the end.. so cute.
as for Hongki and Jung Young-Hwa. The clothes are refreshing, kinda screaming they're from the music circle, which is always fun and adventorous compared to the more formal and boring film industry.

PSH looked so pretty in the red dress! The four of them have great chemestry. Why is JGS wearing a wedding band? I'm not sure what the custom in S.Korea is? Does that mean he is engaged, dating or married?

It is interesting to see that CSW and KSA have so many comments written abt them. It only proves that they are the deserving winners. And I thought Wives' Temptation was a flop. What craziness for the judges not to choose our love SMR and JG as the Best Couple.....really "bi cho so" !!! Look at them on and off screen, who else can compare.
