langdon813 (I'm not sure, but I think I'm older so won't call you langdon-unnie as ockoala does,though the moment calls for some kind of grave acknowledgment of profound emotion through the thoughtful use of pronouns)... Great choice! Seriously, I have the Smiling Pasta DVD on standby as an antidote to any You're Beautiful withdrawal symptom. SP was the first TW drama I watched weekly without waiting for the subs. When it was airing, I called it the "Feel Good" drama. I always felt happy during and after watching it.

No spoilers - but after watching Ep 14 of YB I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that SW comes to the rescue of our star-crossed lovers somehow. I would say this in the recap thread, but...that way lies madness.

Also, I think my squee apparatus might be broken. Not good, because I was planning to use it for Smile, You this weekend. ;-)

@ YB watchers - just started watching ep 14... and just wanted to put it out there that i love jeremy. i want to just hug him when he's sad and make him happy-go-lucky cream pie eating jeremy again. no idea what they're saying but... *back to watching*

I watched the first ep of Thank You on Dramafever tonight (didn't shed a single tear...hmm). I didn't hate it but I didn't fall in love with it either, so I'm open to suggestions.

Did anyone watch Flashforward tonight? Was that Takeuchi Yuko? I think her last jdrama was Bara no nai Hanaya (the blind girl). Looks like she'll be returning in the next episode.

Well, "Thank You" is one of those, you gotta get into the drama to care about it, dramas. Melodramas are a burden to watch sometimes, you are just waiting around to cry, lol.

Perhaps Tazza, and if you want a blast from the past and watch something almost watchable but not really, try the 2002 drama series, Successful Story of a Bright Girl.

One of my fav actresses, Jang Nara is this spunky and energetic and completely honest and responsible and hardworking and so on you get the picture girl who has parents who are irresponsible and stupid con artists. Anyway, her parents are the reason why she is always burdened, and because of their criminal actions, she has to go work as a maid for a rich family.

The prideful and arrogant son of the rich family, Jang Hyuk, falls for her. The others in the rich family, do not. hehe. Insert a dozen cliches here.

Will there ever be a point where you will be surprised at what happens? No. Can you imagine the beginning, middle and end of the drama without ever having seen it? Yes.

That said, I sorta liked it. Jang Hyuk was completely forgettable in my opinion (and a little bit on the chunky side!), but the ageless Jang Nara, who looks the same now as she did 7 years ago, is cute and lovable and so that's really all you need.

If you want to see Jang Hyuk, he's in the film "Please Teach Me English" I found him dorky and adorable in that film, but then I'm a fangirl.

Just discovered Hikaru Utada and I'm liking her a lot.

Another post, I'm really really trying to wait for the DVD for You're Beautiful to come out, I'm just crossing my fingers that the subs would be okay, but its' so haaaaaaard. I get my little doses with Javabean's recaps, hey I don't know the language so these little gems helps a lot to understand the dynamics of the series. I don't mind that I would already know the ending when I start watching, it does not kill the anticipation for me, I've already proven it with Coffee Prince, but the link that Viola gave just kills me....

I promise this will be my last post, I just finished watching Hon (Soul), and the cast was right the ending was a big disappointment. Does anyone know where I could download / find the theme song of that Series. I don't know the artist or the Title of the song if anyone coudl give it to me in English it will be very much appreciated.
