Omo, omo!
No, Samsooki, I'm not squeeing...but I just had to share a new BTS clip for Chuno (the slave-catching scene that's in the preview).

Mm...Jang Hyuk.
Han Jung Soo is scrumptious, too.
Kim Ji Suk still looks goofy in his Joseon mullet, but since he's the comic relief and the baby of the cast...it's all right.
But where's Lee Jong Hyuk?!
50 days and counting... :D

@ 245 Taohua - Maybe Koe Wo Kikasete reminded you of Haru Haru cuz both have very pretty background melodies despite the upbeat foreground (?) music? I'm not sure either but both have gorgeous acoustic versions and Haru Haru also has an additional orchestra version that they performed live that i love. I have been really obsessed with Taeyang's "Wedding Dress" and was really excited to see it on the front page of youtube this morning as "videos currently being watched". There have been a TON of groups debuting this past year, that's for sure. With DBSK in Japan and on the rocks these days, Big Bang doing a lot of solo activities and also promoting in Japan, 2PM's big controversy and 2 month hiatus and with Wonder Girls in the States, all the companies really took advantage of the space left open and launched a massive amount of groups. I can't even keep them straight. The only group I really liked that debuted this year was 2NE1. Those ladies have a ton of talent with sassy attitudes to match.

I feel it is my civic duty to provide y'all with the aforementioned shower scene from Autumn's Concerto:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eR8XyxjOhs
The fun begins at the 3:12 mark and continues until 4:14. Yes, over one full minute, folks. I think it deserved a "thank you". :-D He's kinda skinny, but I really have no problem with that at all.
Embarrassing confession # 2, but technically it's a new day, and it's YB related.
I printed the little chibi A.N.Jell members out and they're looking at me from my bulletin board over my desk. So cute! I don't even care that I'm lame for doing it.

"when you read the His Dark Materials books, did you get that they were rants against the Catholic church?"
To me it was more a criticism of organised religions, not just Catholicism.
Have to confess I only gained interest in HDM when The Golden Compass was about to be released. Of course it was hard to get the boxed set at that time, but I hunted around and got my mitts onto it and am glad I did. Ain't nothing wrong with discovering books through movies I say!
@ ockoala
Woohoo thanks for adopting me! I have close to one full bookcase of 'to be's' - books 'to be' read, along with kdramas 'to be' watched. But now you mentioned “Once Upon a Time in the North” about Lee Scoresby I have to add THAT too. Really if I just stopped adding books/kdramas it would still take me probably months or a year to get through them all (and this timeline would probably mean no sleep and more devastatingly no Dramabeans, and I can't have THAT now can I?)
Perhaps I just have an addictive personality? Or I just like to accumulate stuff? Undecided on what it is.....
Also @239 Ahhhh four fine fine men video. Thanks for that vid!
Hmm given that Won Bin has not got any planned projects as yet, perhaps he could do us all a favour and sneek in a cameo as Tae Kyung's dad in flashback in You're Beautiful? I mean he looks so much like Tae Kyung/Jang Geun-soek in that video. A non scowling - non fountain hair version that is :) *sigh* if only.....
Speaking of the fountain hairstyles - watched 2PM perform Heartbeat, and when I saw their hair the first thing I though of was 'Wah they have the Tae Kyung fountain hair too!' Is this hairstyle like the Lee Min Ho parma for the latter half of 2009?
Ok now a totally unkdrama related rant....
Went to the cinema the other day something has bugged me ever since. So thought to ask my OT pals their opinion.
Is it EVER socially acceptable to curl your bare (ie sockless) feet under you, like you would at home, when sitting next to a complete stranger in a public cinema?
And no I was not the 'offender' I was the 'offended'. Worse thing was I noticed this way way way before the lights went down. I nearly died! Thank god I could access this OT to entertain and distract me. This site is a lifesaver!
Ok so the person did not touch me (OMFG then I would have killed them!) or have smelly feet - but I was thinking "WTF? Did I walk into someone's lounge room and not know it?" Sure make yourself comfortable but barefoot!?! @_@ In a cinema? Next to a stranger? Huh?" It was urgh so so gross! I literally moved as far away from that side of my seat as physically possible! I was so repulsed I was rendered speechless. And THAT is not an easy task.
So OT pals what do you think? Am I a barefoot bigot? Or have I just missed the memo that when you go to a public cinema treat yourself like you were in your OWN HOME cinema? I just don't get how one could think it ok to do this when seated right next to a complete stranger. To me this was just plain rude and inconsiderate.

Hey, it's how young (or old) you feel that counts, right? I watched kdramas with women in their 50's last week. And you're not thaaat much older than me. ;)
At least, you spin while watching. (I tried cycling with hubby long ago, but it's definitely NOT the sport for me. I'm not insane enough to mountain bike, and I couldn't endure the 'pains' of road biking.) I did think about getting something to exercise on while watching dramas, but hubby laughed because 1) there's no room in the house for it, and 2) I'd probably not end up using it.
Speaking of 'man cave'...we don't have enough room in our house for one of those, either, but hubby is currently watching Stanford roll over USC (since he had to work before we went to the Cal game, I taped the Stanford game for him).

With all the recommendations, I was about to start on Autumn Concerto tonight... But... what a devastating opening. My faint heart isn't going to take it at this moment... I'd better postpone till when I'm feeling 100% myself. So, here I am, still re-watching YB Episode 12. Talking about addictions... I feel for that boy from Goong as my son went through a bit of rough patches himself several years ago. Anyways, my prayers are with all those having addictions tonight.

@ 233 ockoala - i agree with every single one of your points for AC. I'm in the middle of watching episode 7 raw because i decided i didn't want to wait for subs for this one...or rather, after the way episode 6 ended i just COULDN'T wait for subs though i will rewatch with subs later on to see if i missed anything important. So far my conversational chinese has served me well. But once the Taiwanese starts back up I'll be totally lost - don't understand a lick of it. *edit* Cannot truly be with you on point #1.. see reason below haha :)
@ langdon813 - i just... can't really watch the shower scene. I don't know why. I can't deny he has a pretty kickin' body and he takes care of himself. But I know way too many people that knew him personally (including my hairdresser for goodness sake) that it's too close for comfort. I need a couple more degrees of separation I think haha. I know it doesn't really make sense cuz it's not like i know him at all... i just feel like if i were watching it and my friend walks by they'd be like, 'why are you watching my friend shower.....'

Yep - definitely sign me up as a member of that club too! Really I try hard to block out what grade I was in when some of these young hotties were born. I am forever young....or forever in denial.
(btw think Samsooki is a secret member of this club too. I mean he has the good taste to adore Binnie and Kang Ji Hwan am sure he would not let a little thing of age stop him, even if he is a dad now....hehe)
For those Vanness fans - check out his blog http://www.alivenotdead.com/vannesswu

Welcome to Chunojummas! :D
Samsooki is technically not part of the group (though he may be secretly, who knows?), but as langdon813 stated, he heads up his own Squee Club -> all encompassing for Lee Da Hae, Nam Sang Mi, etc. ;)
As for Won Bin making a cameo in YB....forget Tae Hyung's father - with that hair, I think he'd fit right in as a younger version of Go Mi Nam & Mi Nyeo's mother.
Seriously, he's darn pretty in that Hallyu-4 photoshoot! :P

@ hjkomo - i am a proud member of the ICOMYM Club but it's not as weird watching JGS's shower in YB than Vanness's shower in AC... I just can't pinpoint the exact reason - just more of a feeling haha.
@ celestialorigin - i've heard good things about Ohitorisama but have not gotten around to watching it. I think once i'm done juggling YB, IRIS, Autumn's Concerto and Shanghai Sweetheart, I'll pick up Ohitorisama, Samurai High and Tokyo Dogs. Koe Wo Kikasete is such a pretty song though huh :) And the video is so full of wonderful eye candy. Thanks for your kind 'civic duty' to those who had not seen the video of the gratutious oops I mean gracious shots of Vanness in the shower in Autumn Concerto. And while I have no idea the plot or how this scene is vital to the series (perhaps except for adding more viewers) think this one minute section could also be used perhaps as a public service announcement of how to use soap correctly? Vanness sure is skinny now, but gotta love the smile (and of course the the abs!) He looks nicer and younger than even his Meteor Garden days.
Now where can I download a copy of this TWdrama with English subs? (which reminds me I still have Black and White to watch!)

I have clarify this. I spin in the garage.(And yes, hubby is a avid cyclist, so he has tried to have me ride with him, too at ungodly hours- 5/6am Sunday morning-"before it gets hot, honey"...but I need my sleep, I would tell him sheepishly; I did another kdrama marathon til 1am. No excuses worked, so I dragged myself out of bed :(
Hubby has set up a tv/CD player for me there, along with my dusty treadmill. My next kdrama for spinning will be no other than 9E2O.
@mancave
That's the secret for a happy marriage....he's yelling (hockey/Lakers), cracking up (Jay Leno, Top Gears) while I cry (any kdrama) and drool (any kdrama) or giggling away (presently at Jeremy of YB). I'm on my laptop ( obviously with my OT's pals) while he's d/l his Stereophonics's latest songs. See, it works ;)
I better go since it's late....catch you guys tomorrow. Have a great day!

Our garage is completely FULL. We have an old house, built before people had great rooms and giant cars. The wine fridge takes up most of the space, and there's barely enough room for hubby's bikes, let alone anything else.
And good headphones (even one for the TV) work just as well as having a man cave...I think. ;)
Oh, and hubby has long since learned not to wake me when he knows I was up late watching kdramas. He just goes about his business as quietly as possible and has coffee waiting for me later. What a dear! :)

Where did you find the A.N.JELL chibi's to print out? Too cute!
Ok fellow You're Beautiful Fans looking for the Pig Rabbit - found it! Well at least online that is.
It is available on Yesasia for preorder. At US$49.99. @_@
http://www.yesasia.com/global/youre-beautiful-pig-rabbit-doll/1021605178-0-0-0-en/info.html
Gotta love this in the product description..."Note: Ribbon hairpin not included."
LMAO (wonder if the sudden increase in their traffic will crash the site aka JB's recaps?)
Now as much as I love Pig Rabbit - the price is making me think "hmm I could get both YB OSTs, CH OST and perhaps a Cha Seung Won movie for the price of one Pig Rabbit?" Besides this Pig Rabbit does not come with the hairclip (LOL) or most importantly does not come with a real life Tae Kyung/Jang Geun-soek! Gee if only.... (I am so having an ICOMYM right now)
Another bit of fabbo news, regarding more age appropriate crushes (well at least for me), that I just read on Jazzholic (the other awesome k related blog - thanks ay_link if your here! *waves*) and had to share.
Alex, he of the awesome group Clazziquai/body/voice and WGM fame, will be co-starring in MBC's "Pasta" with the lead being the Voice (Lee Seon Gyun aka Coffee Prince/Triple) early next year! Woohoo
(read: http://www.jazzholic.com/2009/11/13/casting-on-mbc-pasta/)
This, combine with being a Chunojumma, might help ease the post-YB withdrawal perhaps. :P
(sorry JB just realised I have been linking like a nutcase in my posts today - please remove if you prefer your blog to be link free!)

I found the chibi's on the Soompi YB thread, page 420.
Re: Autumn's Concerto
The shower scene was COMPLETELY gratuitous; they did throw in a line from his girlfriend later, something along the lines of "Oh, you showered? That must mean you were playing hockey even though you had brain surgery six years ago, and since I'm a doctor I must frown upon that. You bad boy, now you have to be punished...."
Or something. Maybe that last part was just me, though. Better watch it again to be sure. :-D
Not sure about where to download AC from; but you can watch it streaming on Viikii.

@ langdon813 - you can DL AC on d-addict's with hardsubs by the wonderful SUBlimes subbers. They just released ep 6. Totally watched ep 7 raw and the Taiwanese tripped me up as well as the court scene, but otherwise I was actually able to understand most of it.
@ caribspice - haha i will most likely go see ninja assassin too.... just not sure when. glad to hear that Rain's engrish has improved. I'm not a big fan of his but it's always nice to see an Asian headline a Hollywood movie.
For any diehard Rain fans, a bunch of Asian promo companies will be hosting a Ninja Assassin release party at Kress in Hollywood and Rain is supposedly going to be there as well. Oh and if you're a fan of Dumbfounded, he'll be performing as well. Just FYI if you're in the local area :)

Where to watch Taiwanese dramas:
My favorite site is: sugoideas.com (all my Taiwanese friends are on it, it has more than dramas, got news, variety shows, etc.)
Wow, you guys had a bustling conversation last night, mostly centered around Vanness's abs (and the camera panned low, wayyyy too low for my chaste heart, but stopped just short of the border).
@ cingdoc, hjkomo
Hee, all this talk about spinning, exercising in the garage, man-caves - I've actually been setting up hubby's Christmas present lately - a new workout elliptical I bought and I'm converting a corner of the garage into a workout area, and getting a TV/cable box put in. I'm done cleaning out that corner of the garage, and everything is coming this week so it'll be done setting up by the weekend. Really, I'm going to be watching mondo dramas when I use the elliptical - I'm typically a outdoor runner, and I run in the summertime, but my silly city (okay, not complaining - especially after what langdon813 has to live with) has no street lights, not a single one! It's purposely done that way to keep it residential and secluded, but the downside is, I can't jog at night cuz I'm liable to be run over. So, this is a major win for the ockoala family! Remember, hubby is trying to get into shape after suffering a mental jab too many with my watching a series of LBH movies/dramas.
@ lovenyc52
Aw yes, you're totally hooked on Autumn Concerto, huh? It's so simple, really, but that's what makes it so wonderful when the execution is done right. I speak Taiwanese so the Taiwanese language bits are a hoot (cuz the second male lead doesn't speak Taiwanese very well).

@ ockoala - first off, your ockoala babies are toooo cute!! :) and second, i think they did better on that puzzle than i could. my geography knowledge is sadly lacking. and third - thanks for the sugoideas site - i actually had no idea a site like that existed. it's sad that i can find the latest kdrama and kpop news in a heartbeat, but i have to call my mom to find out any twdrama/tw pop news haha (she is scarily in the know for those things... i swear it's cuz of genetics that i'm a steadfast ICOMYM member because her love for zai zai knows no bounds) Autumn's Concerto is just so wonderful - i am sooo pleasantly surprised that I'm enjoying it as much as I am despite all the cliches. But I think it's because even though they're cliches, they're executed in a way that's not overdone and almost refreshing. For example, in the first episode when Mu Cheng finds out about the cliched bet - she doesn't just go running off all sad and depressed. She bites back and shows some spine. Then when she has to leave him, she doesn't just lie by saying "I don't love you", but actually uses a very plausible (though untrue) reason to make him not come after her. Because the cliches are played out in that kind of fashion, it keeps us on our toes... so far anyway. I'm interested to see how the writers are going to separate Yi Qian from Guang Xi since she doesn't seem to be the evil second lead (yet).

Ha ha, me, too! I'm still only half-way committed to t-dramas, only the most interesting or compelling ones draws me in. After Black & White, I borrowed Sweet Relationships from my sister to get more Vic, and I stopped after 2 episodes (didn't like the story, execution or the leading lady), so not all t-dramas are for me. This site was referred to me by my Taiwanese mommy friend.
Since so many wonderful OT-ers have offered to babysit my babies, I thought I'd give you guys a glimpse of their naughtiness, but they were actually quite civilized doing a very educational endeavor last night.

LADIES/GUYS IMPORTANT ALERT
With the downturn of the economy, crime is on the rise. The latest crime spree in our neighborhood (not immediate vicinity) is "follow you into the house". This happens when you come home from shopping and leave the garage door opens while you unload. This poor neighbor of mine was robbed 10:30 am yesterday while busy in the kitchen , putting stuff away. She looked up and there stood 2 men, demanding for her valuables. I think we ALL are guilty of this, leaving the garage door or front door(if you live in an apartment) opened while we are taking things that we just purchased. Your level of alertness is low because most possibly you're tired and your hands are full. Material possessions can be replaced, but I think sometime the thieves might panic , and someone might get hurt. So, everyone, be careful...The police/detectives suggested that one can unload the stuff from the car and place it in the garage/hallway,closed the doors and then bring the stuff inside the house to unpack.

(Hi! We're now virtually related through ockoala ^_^)
I'm guilty of curling up barefoot at the movies, but not next to strangers. Actually I always sit apart from people I don't know. I wonder if I bother people. It's just so comfortable, especially since I'm quite short and can't stretch my feet to the seat in front of me without being uncomfortable.
______
RE: Big Bang is my favorite/first KPop group and 'Haru Haru' was my intro. Something that has been really bothering me about Ko Wo Kikasete is the icecream cone in the MV. Is it symbolic? Does it serve some role in the Ohitorisama? Other than that it is a great song and they all look/sound great.

*SPOILER
I tried to keep myself from watching IRIS until it was over, but I couldn't resist. It is the kind of show I could easily have lost interest in because I've seen too many spy/secret organization/exploding things plotlines. I decided to venture on in hopes of it being something different. It isn't too original and it has a lot of things that irritate me (touching their earpieces when they talk, lab director), but I continued because I wanted to see Tabi with more than one line of dialogue.
Episode 6 OMG. I love Sun Hwa! I know she most likely will not get Hyun Joon (no matter how much I love them together (they are the first non main couple I've supported)), but I really want her to end up happy. Sun Hwa has almost single handedly doubled my love for IRIS.
After episode 8, I have no idea how Hyun Joon is supposed to be happy. He looked so lost and broken when he was holding Yuki on the bridge.
Vic, how could you kill the adorable Yuki?! (But my Tabi was looking mighty fine in that green jacket. Yum.)
The preview makes me want to watch it raw. Must. Resist.

-The man directing the runway practice is reporter Kim from YB
-I'm really falling for Lee Jung Do (B urea Director)
-I LOVE the theme song. It has classics Hip Hop feel to it.
-CSW's voice <3
-KSA is so cute!
-Is the smelly hair going to be resolved or come up a lot?
-Quote: "Bowing low and kneeling can become a habit"
Does anyone know where I can watch it streaming? On Viikii most of the links are broken. I was watching it on megavideo, but with 15 minutes to go of episode 3, it stopped working. There isn't even a raw version on YouTube...Until then, I'll watch episode 4 on megavideo. 72 minutes is so restricting.

I watched the movie RECOUNT with my government class last week and loved it. I liked how close it was to the actual events, how well cast it was, and the whole setup. It really made me think about the stuff I never considered about the voting process. Tom Wilkinson as James Baker definitely stole the show just with his presence. Overall definitely a highly recommended movie.
My government teacher wants our class to read one 'political' nonfiction book and watch 5 'political' movies. I was wondering if OTers had anything they could recommend?

Here are some good ones (I think) in no particular order:
1) All The President's Men
2) Reds
3) Malcolm X
4) Election (my fave Reese Witherspoon film)
5) Manchurian Candidate (1962)
6) Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
7) Judgement at Nuremburg
8 ) Citizen Kane (nuff said)
9) Truman (Gary Sinise, really good)
10) Wild in the Streets (cult classic hippy trippy 60's but awesome, might be tough to find)

I love all of langdon813's suggestions for political movies, she's got impeccable taste (which, btw, I classify different than war movies caused by politics - i.e Schindler's List, Glory, Bridge on the River Kwai, Das Boot, Empire of the Sun, all the Vietnam war movies, all the WW II movies, etc. - but many of the war movies have deal with politics head on as well).
I would like to add two more:
1. On the Waterfront with Marlon Brando - "I coulda been a contenda"
2. Thirteen Days (the Cuban Missile Crisis movie) and the book about it by RFK.
As for City Hall - you can still watch on aznv.tv (just sign up, its free, and download a free player). And yes, the first episode is indeed really, really funny - but like belleza said, it's a type of humor not typical in k-dramas, so I, for one, didn't quite appreciate it as much until I had watched subsequent episodes. Anyways, the smelly hair thing - nope, not going to come up later except to reinforce how much JG has come to see MR in a different light when he does something to her involving her hair. Love the scene - heck, I love every second of City Hall.

I just watched the video in its entirety and OMG, I forgot I was wearing my retainers the entire time - so I was talking with a very hilarious lisp - I normally can enunciate a bit clearer, at least I hope I can. ;-)

@124 ockoala & @254 bspanda -- sorry, I just remembered the popular press going on about Philip Pullman being a dangerous influence because his books were -- what I remembered as being "anti-catholic" but I am willing to believe was "anti-organised religion"; and the comment about being surprised was directed at myself for reading them as very gripping, engaging stories, but essentially ripping yarns. And I was an adult when I read them, so not too young to see it, just too dense. I see that John Gribbin has written "The Science of Philip Pullman" which I'd like to read, maybe after reading the books again. Just finished "Once upon a time in the North", thanks to whoever mentioned that. "Lyra's Oxford" is next.

Patience, oh dear unni. Perchance, you may want to re-watch one of the political movies you recommended to help pass the time? =-) Just kidding, I'm chomping at the bit myself - I think YB episode 13-14 are gonna rock based on the previews I read. Which excites me to no end, I love it when dramas kick into overdrive for its final episodes to end on a bang. And, I'm still schmoopy from watching Autumn Concerto episode 7, it was such a nice episode, the calm before the storm. And I think Pretty-Hair Mu-Cheng will have even more chemistry with Short-Hair Ab-Scarred Guang-xi. Yay for time jumps!

hahaha... you're awesome!
after watching 3 episodes of hong gil dong, i couldn't help but notice the similar personality and affected mannerisms of yi nok and jong ah (shin da woon) in the drama haeng bok hop ni da (happiness or i am happy). i wonder if these two characters were created by the same writer.
i must say, KJH is excellent.

Our husbands went to the same school of sensitivity and wifely appreciation training. I'm still waiting for my YB OST to come in the mail, and will intercept it before he spies it.
@ nycgrl and Taohua
Agree so much on how draggy the LoTR series of books were (and the movie suffered from as well). HDM in contrast really stuck to the essense of the telling the story, and I actually wanted MORE about certain characters (like Lee Scoresby - which we now get in Once upon a time in the North, more Iorek in the latter books, and of course, every other scene should be between Will and Lyra).
@ belleza
I think you're right, YT is flooded with YB uploads left, right and all around. I think this is the first drama about an idol group, am I right? (Beautiful Days was about the music industry as a background, and the BD soundtrack is also a hundred shades of awesome). Well, I'm glad to be living through this YB craze, though I'm personally laying low these next 2 weeks for fear of YB overload and backlash (mine own creation). I really can't wait to see how the Hong sisters will end it. I wouldn't mind a HGD parody at the end, and then we see they all lived happily in a new world free of the oppression of their idol status.

@cingdoc -. "Mine actually TOOK me to koreantown himself when I bought the YB’s OST. "
That is totally sweet. My hubby would never do that. He is very sweet in terms of planning a romantic getaway and taking care of me when I'm sick but we are both the type who lives to make sport of each other. He trash talks me when we play basketball and I trash talk him when we go snowboarding. We are pretty childish and I imagine we will be like this when we are 80 yo. YB is probably one of the very few things I wanted to keep under the radar from him because maybe I'm embarrassed about how obsessed I am though I'm not embarrassed to admit it to all of y'all.
@langdon813 -
"Embarrassing confession # 2, but technically it’s a new day, and it’s YB related.
I printed the little chibi A.N.Jell members out and they’re looking at me from my bulletin board"
I totally want to do that! And it sounds terribly fun and all but I'm already losing face here with the OST thing so I'll lie low until he watches Ninja Assassin and then I'll make them A.N. Jell Christmas ornaments or maybe even stick them all around his prized flatscreen TV.

@ ockoala, all tentative TW drama enthusiasts, and YB-addicts: I recommend watch Smiling Pasta, if you haven't done so. It's a drama centered on a famous singer. There are two hot male leads, but refreshingly, no love triangles. Story is fresh, thank goodness. Nicholas the male lead is no guyliner, but his dazzling smile, sweetness and soothing singing voice (he's a real singer) qualify him to be a manrem (am I using the right word?) in the ICOMYM club. For once, I was not put off by the female lead's cutsey acting, because it is no where near the TW idol drama average. Oh, and Smiling Pasta has a killer OST. The opening theme had my 14 month old nephew smiling and shaking his legs in his crib. My favorite is the Turtle song - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=keaxmmp1qpY.
Viewed and heard as a stand-alone song, it may sound less awesome, but really, it is much, very much better viewed in context, because it then becomes more meaningful - I teared!). View ep. 1 here with Eng. sub. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eot-VcGKn8k
and let's hear your views on the drama.
p.s. The flickering is only in the first 10 sec or so.

Now that I reread what I have written, it sounded as if I was bragging***blush**
By no mean my Hubby is perfect. It's just that we have been together for eon that we know what the other one likes. He knows that in additonal to work, I have to take care of the kids and homes, so "to keep everyone happy", he indulges my kdrama obsessions. I think it's fair to say that most of us here have very stressful life so I think that it's perfectly "healthy" for us to enjoy/escape a little (and be a full fledge member of ICOMYM ;)
@289 langdon813
Your LMK was spotted on Popseoul...what happened?? Did your LMK radar on stand by mode?? I would think your alarm would have sounded by now "Searching target " "locking target" he he ;)

I'd like to add to langdon813 & ockoala's suggestions for political movies -
The Contender - Joan Allen was marvelous in this, as a female candidate chosen to replace the recently deceased Vice President.
Good Night, and Good Luck - about a reporter's stand against Senator McCarthy in the 50's.
Milk - I haven't seen this, but it's about Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man to be elected to political office.
@ ockoala
I don't even have enough time for kdramas, so I doubt I'll be starting any tdramas.
But, yeah, that scene was all about - how low can you go. *mamma mia*
I had suggested getting an elliptical machine, but hubby just laughed and said - Where the heck would we put it?
The ockoala babies are too cute! All kids are wily, but yours do it with panache. ;)
@ kb
Are you still watching Happiness? I believe the writer also wrote Noona (with Kim Sung Soo), which I haven't seen, but it's supposed to be better-written.
HGD was written by the Hong sisters, who are also the writers for You're Beautiful. (ockoala, I'd love to see a HGD parody in YB!)
As Samsooki stated, yes, KJH is taken.
But any claims by Baby Ji Hoon's daddy are merely a result of his sleep-deprived delirium. ;)

Did you find the link for the chibi's on Soompi? It's post # 8397. Just right click and save it and you should be good to go!

The Contender, great movie! I love Joan Allen, that woman can do damn near anything.
So....I'm posting during a break from watching A Million (with guess who). It's a bit intense, and the last LMK movie I watched (Haeundae), well...let's just say it did not end so well for my beloved.
