Mmh...i was thinking, maybe because CInderella story become the most use story/typical in Kdrama, perhaps the writer would consider this Prince Charming to have a happy ending with his Princess???It seems such a waste for such a handsome prince don`t get the girl! YSH looked so much younger as Taebong.
Yet he looking so much older now that he is playing a guy younger than that of his previous character. Unless its because he is surrounded by people many many years younger than him that his wrinkles just stick out more..?

i will be waiting for this drama , i hope in final that it will be good for my expectation ; i like the actress since "coffee prince" and the actor Jung Il-woo i like he is look , so i hope that will be a good drama

I'm looking forward to this drama. Love Jung Il Woo and liked Yoon Eun Hye in coffee prince but I'm not used to seeing her all dolled up. Just hope that she won't look like a korean Paris Hilton in the drama.
Anyway, seems like this would be a sassy romance, we hadn't had this kind lately.

so what to expect in terms of youthful looks ?

@ Expect nothing of youthful look. If you want youthful look, please watch Harry Porter. Even Harry is getting old, so perhaps Russell of "Up" may suit your taste :P

Hold on a sec. is this drama taking tips from BOF....seriously people can the production team be more original than this....its like watching Jihoo riding his white horse....I guess they are just missing JanDi......I do think that the main guy looks a little bit OLDER....they should have look for someone else.......

@agentdarwin - i agree with you -- YSH may be in his 30s but he's hot & most likely hotter than the other younger stars! we all are bound to get old one day - who cares about his age? he can act, sing and very handsome! i hope he wins an award for his great acting as Taebong in QofH! YSH rocks!
I can't wait to see this because of him and Eun -- i really haven't watched return of il jimae so i can't really say anything about Jung il woo but he looks adorable too.

@lenrasoon & @18 -- i'm with you both i agree -- yes i thought it was just me but they keep complaining about Yoon's age -- why? is Kdrama only for the younger generation now? i'm getting sick also hearing them fuss about Yoon's age! hello he's not 90 yrs old yet ok? leave his age alone & just enjoy and credit his potential as a great actor/singer/model!
if people don't wish to see older K actors in a drama or movie then Korean film industry should probably start dishing old actors like Bae Yoong joon, Kim min, Ji jin hee among a few, who are in their late 30s and these actors I must say got good resumes in their names?? if, say, the BBF guys or Jung il woo get to their mid or late 30s, fans won't like them anymore? need i say more?

I loosely followed Story of a Man (wouldn't have otherwise if it hadn't been for your recaps though) but haven't looked forward to a Kdrama since BBF. I love YEH and so excited for this new drama to premiere!! She looks amazing!

Teens are not the only ones watching TV dramas. Can't people stop making negative comments on YSH's age or wrinkles?

When I was young, I liked older men. Now that I'm older, I like younger men. Age is a number. What counts is their talent, personality, charisma and experience. Yoon Sang Hyun has worked hard and is finally popular. Give him a chance. I am sure he'll do great in this drama.

Older men and younger women has been a fact of life in many cultures and countries, so what's with the shock of pairing YEH and YSH as a possible couple?

What about Kwong Sang Woo and Yoon A in Cinderella Man? KSW is only a couple of years younger than YSH and YoonA is a few years younger than YEH.

@32 I don't think anyone made any outright negative comment about YSH's age or looks. Looking older does not necessarily mean a bad thing. There are a lot of actors who look much better when they've aged. As for the comment about finding someone else to fit his role, I'm sure YSH will prove that the role was made for him only.

I really think he looks good at his age! like you said they shld look at their talent & potential as an actor & YSH got it all, he can sing (love his voice in QofH), he can do both comedy & drama, versatile indeed! I'm also positive that he'll give it his all in this drama, like he did in QofH.

What I'm trying to get at is that he may be in his 30s but he's among the hottest being nominated with the younger actors, even in the category of Hot Mr Beauty, Hot Boom Up Song.
