F4’s “five years later” video to be a music drama

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.

Days after a teaser video was posted online (watch below) without explanation, which has been stirring renewed interest in the romance drama Boys Before Flowers, the official announcement has come for the “five years later” story touted in the clip:

A 25-minute “music drama” (read: extended music video) will wrap up the F4 saga in omnibus format, featuring the four F4 members played by Lee Min-ho, Kim Hyun-joong, Kim Bum, and Kim Joon five years after we last left them.

This “F4 Special Edition” MV, which was filmed in secret, will be unveiled online at Mnet.com on April 28. It will also feature songs sung by each of the F4 members (the previously announced special edition OST).

To be perfectly honest, I’m kinda over it. I had my fun, thoroughly enjoyed my time spent with the drama, laughed tons and don’t regret any time spent on Boys Before Flowers. That said, I’ve moved on and all this constant dragging-out and promotional tying-in just feels unnecessary. (I know, I know, where money’s concerned, it’s never unnecessary.) I may watch it, but I don’t particularly care to see what happens — and music videos like this always feel fanfiction-y, rather than “canon,” so it doesn’t have the same narrative impact either.

I was a bit dissapointed about the five years after follow up about the F4. Why? BEcause Im thinking that Jan di and Min Ho got married and was succesful having their own careers with family, Gail and Kim Bum married and have their own careers, then lastly Jihoo more likely still finding his love intrest. But lastly the last F4 Woo Bin well as usual a tag along.

It's frustrating to watch the music video without any success story of the F4? IM thinking theres another season? But the director didnt quite want to make another one. Im thinking next season well see a much more matured actors, or perhaps well see the ending of Jan Di and Min Ho's wedding. LOL

Welps I have my fun watching the drama, even bought the making of the korean novela. For now, Im still looking fwd to the next project by my favorite korean actor Min Ho, Kim Bum, and Kim Hyun Joong. I want to see more of them get more projects for us fans to enjoy.

But im sure when im in the mood fir a great love story welps ill dig thru my DVD collection and watch it over again.

Looking fwd to watch Personal Taste Lee Min HO's korean drama's going to start on April 2010.....

Kim Bum's a woman who dont want to marry, another korean drama which already started january 2010.

When can we possibly have the DVD? I cant wait perhaps two yrs dang it. Im so impatient

Wishing that other countries would have the oppurtunity to see the F4 cast and Jan Di. That would be brilliant.
Hoping that they can bring some translators so that the fans can communicate with them.=)
