yeah, frightening but I can't wait. If I'm too disturbed to sleep afterward, I can always watch 10 (or 5) min of Twilight.

Some of it takes place in Africa - Song's priest is there on missionary, though they shot it in New Zealand IIRC. That fishing scene looks amusing...calm before the storm LOL? heard that Son Yejin turned down the role - too much sex and not enough acting probably. i expect this will be a nice evolution of PCW style with even less visual "clutter", though based on his past approach, the religious angle may be more for some visual/"moral" punch and acting showcase. Shin ha-kyun's lookin' mighty fiiine ;) as for Kim ok-bin, i don't remember her selling sex as much as in that dancing vid. she's built for this task i'm sure (wink wink; though I prefer to see her face properly than an upside down body-tease. maybe all the "abuse scandal" is taking its tow on my judgment.)

That looks intriguing. Of course I am a Park Chan-wook fangirl, so I could be biased. Plus, Song Kang-ho is ♥.

anyways... I most likely won't be watching it, but I hope it turns out well and become a hit ^^

But serously. I prefer to watch asian horror films rather than american. No offense, but american films don't make it so grusome. At the end it's about the love between 2 people, which is nice, but if it's a horror film it has to be HORRORIFIC (^_^)

I like vampires and I liked Park's previous films. Should be brutal and provoking.

Asain cinema is really something. I recently saw Good Bad Weird on Youtube and it was hands down the best movie I've seen in decades. And I don't even like westerns!

I keep saying I'm going to learn Korean so I'm not limited to subtitles but alas, I remain addicted to the easy fix of fan subs.

I love watching Vampire movie`s, I`ve seen a lot and horror, suspense thriller.

Sorry to be off topic for a sec but thanks Muffin for reminding me of The Good, The Bad, The Weird! That film title has been floating in my head and I finally watched it. What a great western film from Kim Ji-woon!!! Wow, I really need to get that soundtrack.

Honestly, this may very well be the most LINEAR Park Chan Wook flick since JSA. Dude, it's almost tastefully goth in its celebration of blood, lust, and ivory necklines.

Not my type either but you can trust Park Chan-wook for awesomeness every time.

I generally like Park Chan-wook more as a writer than a director. Vampire movies, what with all 'tis Catholic guilt, Lolita angst, and decadent protocol, are the stuff of the highest minded, most profound trash. (Which is good!!) And this could be REALLY great, especially if he takes a shot at all the SNSD/WG-edophiles out in K-pop land. You know who you are hee ;) :D

i thought it was interesting, until i got to the vampire part.... not my cup of tea...but the cinematography looks amazing

I'm not freaked out or anything but it's certainly evocative... It's exactly my kind of movie, kinda reminds me of Silence of the Lambs~slash~Let the Right One In..

the movie looks interesting, but the sex scene is kinda disturbing cos it looks like it consists half of the story, and i'm not really up for that...huhuhuuu

vampire movies are not my type at all but after watching his vengeance trilogy and joint sercurity I decided to trust him and watch it. I enjoyed the movie alot although that doesn't necessarily mean I'm into the whole vampire thing but nevertheless I loved it and I can't wait to see what he does next ^_^
