Philip Lee in Story of a Man
by javabeans
Most people got their first look at Philip Lee in the blockbuster fantasy-historical drama Legend (Taewangsashingi), in which he played the role of Cheoro. More than a year later, he’s returning to television in the new KBS series Story of a Man.
Story of a Man has already attracted notice for its scriptwriter, the much-lauded Song Ji-nah, who penned Legend as well as the (dare I say legendary?) 1995 drama Sandglass. It is said that Song wrote the character in this latest drama specifically for Philip Lee, who will display some of his English skills through his Korean-American character. The drama centers around a young rich man whose father’s business is bankrupted by a corrupt, large corporation, who then vows revenge.
The drama stars Park Yong-ha (On Air), Kim Kang-woo (Marine Boy), and Park Shi-yeon (La Dolce Vita) and will follow Boys Before Flowers on Mondays and Tuesdays starting late March.

Wow, that plot is generic... I haven't really seen Legend or Sandglass, but maybe there be more of a twist on it...

I LOVE this actor! Seriously, he has so much character presence..!
In legend, even when he played the silent guy who hardly ever spoke, you could still feel his presence even when he's just standing in the background...
Ah~ even when he loved (?) Sujini.. he always had so much expression (which is why I loved that drama... all the characters played their roles really... really.. really well.)

I don't know him....didn't watch Legend ..anything with Yonsama scares me away. But he sure has a remarkable mouth. His outfit looks too wannabe. And the pose makes it worse.

I'm curious, is the "Boy George x Tramp" considered hot these days? Joo Ji-hoon sported a similar look not long ago.

He was great in Legend. Even I got swept away by him. I think that Bisquit said exactly what I was thinking. He had really great screen presence and none of his shots were wasted.
I'll be looking forward to his role in this drama. It'll be interesting because he hardly spoke in Legend. Pictures really don't do him an ounce of justice. This man just oozes sex appeal. This is coming from a person with no hormones.

Even though Lee's role in Legend was mostly non-verbal, his charisma and sexiness just oozed off the screen.
I'll be looking forward to what else this actor can offer, especially when given a role where he can exercise his verbal skills.

I saw him in legend and thought/think he is very handsome and I always waited for him appear again, even if he doesn't say anything. :)
I'd like to see another drama with him in it.

He sure had gotten the most sensual lip. lol
Yah, like to see him in a drama again if possible with LJA.
Since the script is written for him, hope he can deliver, not just with his good looks.
