Cinderella Man’s leading lady Han Eun-jung
by javabeans
Han Eun-jung (Lawyers of Korea, Full House) will be the leading lady opposite Kwon Sang-woo‘s pauper-into-prince main character in upcoming MBC drama Cinderella Man.
Or should I say, leading lady opposite both of Kwon’s pauper AND prince characters — his Dongdaemun market shopkeeper character (the “pauper”) switches places with a businessman who owns a large-scale clothing enterprise (the “prince”). Hilarity (I’m sure) ensues.
Han Eun-jung plays a rich daughter of a banker, who falls for Kwon’s shopkeeper character. Neither actor excites me, but the premise seems rife with possibility for ridiculous cheesiness. The drama will air on Wednesdays and Thursdays in early May.

Hqlover, the Sadness Sadly Sadder Than Sad whatever project is a film, so it's probably done shooting already. Or it will definitely be over by March, when it releases. Cinderella Man is a drama series so that'll probably start shooting in April and keep going from there.

I watched a few episodes of Lawyers of Korea and found the four leads not only attractive but so likeable. The story didn't interest me so I stopped watching.
If the lead guy is KSW it's guaranteed cheese. He is so handsome but why do I find him so corny? I also don't like his delicate lily white skin.

Yah, the 2 leads are not excitable, though KSW look is...but then, his previous drama rated badly, l wonder what will happen to this.
They should have gotten a fresh face actress than this actress.

She's alright. It'll be different watching her play the lead actress for once. I always see her as the b*tch-who-never-gets-the-guy character.
I'll be keeping an eye on this one. Kwon Sang Woo is good with comedy.

Finally, KSW in a comedy!!!! (enough with his melo stereotypes..)
I'm kinda looking forward to the KSW-HEJ tandem..
HEJ may not be the gorgeous pretty type, or the type of A-list actress we're used to seeing in TV dramas, but I kinda like her... she was really good in The Person I Love, and on par in Lawyers... kinda curious how she'll take on comedy..

"I always see her as the b*tch-who-never-gets-the-guy character."
She'll always be Wonderbra Girl to me. Ahhh, Full House's fashion has eaten my mind! :D
I can't wait until Kwon Sang Woo fights Kwon Sang Woo. There can only be one!

I have always loved HEJ, there's some charm about her. About Kwon Sang Woo, he was amazing in Stairway to Heaven. I am very excited to see that they will work together.

I like HEJ ever since I've seen episodes from Seoul 1945. and for some strange reason, I wanted her to get the guy in Full House more than SHG. rawr. but... I'm not into KSW. I think the only drama I watched him, and actually liked him, was in We Are Dating Now. I loved his sidestory there.

Yuks!!gonna give this a miss...don't think much of han or yoon ah...both r so....as the cantonese wld say, care lair fare...meaning,so second-rate and forgettable!!!Why do k-dramas have a knack of pairing off the most unlikely of couples....like choi ji woo with all those second-rate,forgettable faces in Stars Lover..such a letdown and turn-off!Kwon Sang Woo...wud ve been perfectly paired off with Han hye jin or eugene or song hye gyo or lee da hye in this drama....
Urghs....Yoon Ah...how insipid...Han Eun Jung...can only remember how she flaunted her low cleavages in Full House and wat a turn off dat was!!
CHEERS,just my 2 cents worth and no offense, people.
