“World” gets a music video
by javabeans
The World They Live In is getting trounced in the ratings, but it’s still putting out a music video, perhaps in an attempt to raise its profile. (By the way, I’m working on getting guest recappers on board to take over the series, so if we’re lucky things may get back on track soon.)
Ballad singer Sung Shi-kyung is currently serving his civic obligation in the military, but he’ll have an indirect hand in the music video — he sang the OST song it’ll feature, “연연” (“light and beautiful”).
The reason I’m skeptical of the MV as a last-ditch promo tool is because it doesn’t sound all that interesting: merely clips comprising Ji-oh and Joon-young’s love story (that’s Hyun Bin and Song Hye-gyo, for non-watchers out there) from the episodes that have already aired. With the singer away in the army and the two leads not adding new footage, this may just as well be a fan vid.
The MV will be released at the end of this month and featured on the show’s official homepage.

A music video focusing on the least interesting part of the drama, that should be fun.

That's my favorite song off the OST.
So hopefully it'll be good?
Maybe they can do an actual music video with SHK and HB without the drama.
It'd still promote it right? Technically?

thanks for the good news :D
I don't know why, but I have a feeling that there are many people who are bashing this drama just for the sake of bashing. And they just want it to flop just for the sake of flopping. Because that would be the only reason for them to leave such weird comments about a drama they already declared they don't care about it at all!!!!!

I truly enjoy this drama. It's different from many of the previous dramas I've watched. I really enjoy this drama; it's more realistic. Song Hye-Kyo's is taking on a different character compared to Full House, and I like that she's trying something rather different from that role. Overall, it's refreshing to get a drama this different from the typical. There are so many good messages within the drama. Also, for once, I'm not predicting the next event(s)/scene(s) like I could with other previous dramas I've watched.

This drama started out slow but it got more interesting as I kept watching. I ended up loving it. I would definitely will have to buy this drama. The quotes have a lot of meaning and something we can relate to the real world. Love it.
