i love Jang Geun Suk
SOOOO cute

I have a huge soft spot for Jang Geun Seok, but I didn't like his acting in Hong Gil Dong too much. He wasn't terrible and if I end up watching this for him, I'll watch for his voice. The guy has a nice speaking voice, what can I say.

i am looking forward to this one... JGS is one of my favs... and stories about orchestras are pretty rare...

Wow...it's a bit (a lot?) more serious than I imagined Nodame Cantabile to be...BUT I do love the manga so I will watch this when it comes out. :D

This may be culturally insensitive, but does the name "Du Ru Mi" have to do with "Do Re Mi"? Like un/intentionally? Or is it just me not noticing the obvious?

IT's interesting! But I do hope it won't be too serious though! The director of this drama ( also PD for Damo and Fashion 70's) seem to be really serious .

Hmm Damo wasn't really my favorite drama because it got too overdramatic after the 1st episode since I thought it would be like a mystery solving drama. But got disappointed when it turned out like any other Korean drama. I hope they don't focus too much on overdramatic parts but the music. Well I guess many people will be comparing it with Nodame Cantabile since it's kind of a rare topic in dramas.

Still looking forward to it though.

this is well crafted drama compared to most predictable korean dramas. i like it even better when the romantic side of the story wasnt really exploited as other k-dramas made. the ending wasnt dissapointing. it was intellectually concluded. better than the usual happy ending drama. the beauty of this drama lies on the excellent acting of the main characters (maestro kang and ru mi, most especi ally) kim myung min should get a 5 star rating for his very convincing role as conductor with so much "angst," He is just simply remarkable. hope mbc gives him more project so with le jian. not just a pretty face but a natural talent suited for big screen...
