ooooh! me, too. i have this hard to explain dislike for han ji hye. her dramas were ok but i have an intense dislike for her real life persona. plus, i don't find her very attractive.

what exactly is this drama suppose to be about? i keep hearing it will start soon, but not much about the plot.

i saw a bts photo shoot of Lee Da Hae, she was modeling wedding gowns and walked on a beach, & tourists, i think Europeans, they were saying "Congratulations on your wedding", so funny. but she was around little kids & hi-fived them, she seemed nice. is she really dating Lee Dong Wook? cause that is another reason to not like her. just kidding.

Mmhhh.. no dennis oh? I think he is one of the popular cast of EOE. I wonder whether he is an unimportant role or he just walked out of the cast.

I kinda get it when you say SSH looks "smirky". I liked him a lot as he made me cry a river on Autumn Tale, but lately I'm getting that "smirky, snobby" feel whenever I see a picture of him. Why I don't know. Just a vibe. His best friend SJS, on the other hand, I'm starting to appreciate. I see now that he is "different", may be deeper than I thought?

But I wish him success on East of Eden nonetheless. I am still looking forward to watching it.

Oh, I get the opposite impression. His image is the Archetypal Korean Man -- tough, tender, of the Brotherhood yet apart -- (and it should be noted this species of Sexy is endangered among the 20-something pretties today, Junki much?) But from his comments, he's more like the annoying little brother who wanted to be Lil Wayne, date a Wonder Girl, and live in a MTV Crib. Yo. I love this silly stud for that, and also how he loves his mum.

What I love about Song Seung-heon is how insincere he is at playing sensitive. Jun Suh weeping over Eun Suh had the narcissistic gravity of William Shatner crying over Spock. He's beautiful and beautifully vapid, and I love him for it.

Actually, I would argue that Han Ji Hye is the undisputed Queen of Preen, and it is that obnoxiously prideful bearing which makes her a fashion plate. She is to the winter collection what Liam Gallagher is to vowels.

Han Ji Hye was so cute in 19, but she must like long shows she just finished I Hate You, But It's Fine with it 150 plus run now she doing this with 50, guess a regular pay cheque is always nice.
lee da hae I think still is suffering from the success of My Girl, no matter what she did after that it was always going to be compared. Hopefully this big name drama can finally lay that baggage to rest. She` never going to be a Great actress but with her looks I really do not think that has been asked of her, just as long as she solid.

daydreamer, what is it in her real life persona that you don't like? I disagree with you. think she is the nicest person ever. she is this "what you see is what you get person". in fact she is good friends with Jung Ryeo Won and Han Ye Seul in real life.

i think lee da hae kind of gives off that kind of vibe too. however, i haven't watched too many clips of her so i can't be one to judge.

lee yeon hee is really gorgeous and she looks natural. i like song seung hoon a lot. ^___^ i haven't watched anything with han ji hye or han ga in's hubby so idk about them.

Hmm.... I hope other than the cast, the basic story will be worth watching.

Leading lady is Lee Da Hae. Main triangle is between Song Seung-heon and Yun Jung Hoon over Lee Da Hae.

The original synopsis had this story progressing decades across generations. And, so, it's possible different characters and relationships mainly appear in different times. That or we'll get a Love Octagon. In the Love Octagon, choke holds, backhand slaps, snarky one-liners, random explosions and gratuitous crying are permitted and encouraged. Each round ends with an amnesia plot, a terminal disease plot, or in the case of SSH, a incest-but-not-really plot. However, accusations of nose surgeries are strictly taboo. You just don't get there. Also, English-speaking actors must demonstrate acting skills before entering the bloodiest of all love geometry.

I absolutely adore Han Ji Hye. I admire her for her choice of roles lately. From a mature role in the movie Humming to a sad character in EOE. Hope shs stands out in this role and prove herself more.

i actually wish for han ji hye as the lead actress. i like her since sweet18 and grew to love her after watching her latest drama(exactly before east of eden): likable or not. that 170+ episodes drama really grow in me and she did an excellent job. her characters really live. and yeah, she's lovable and adorable <3 and her real life also seems to be really nice and cheerful (after watching some of her interviews)

Eh, i kind of agree with you about lee da hae. most of the time in talk show or interview, she seems so conscious about her prettiness. or in my homeland, we call it, 'control', like controlling your movement so that u look pretty all the time.

I've read that she got sick and get her into the hospital because of over work(too bad for her) but its good on the other side because she has given a chance to be part of this kind of drama to think that there are bunch of Korean actress who wanted to be the main leading lady for East of Eden and i think she really deserved it. go for it and do your best.

Lee Yeon Hee Look pretty,,, she is doing a great job in the drama the same for the other girls, but LDH is not a couple with SSH, Is LYH and SSH they have Kiss twice yessss...
