His drama really fell off the radar didn't it? No one seems to be talking about it at all...

I really liked Thank You but it seems Robbers/Bandits is hardly getting any attention. I don't even see people mentioning about it much online, to the point that I wonder if the show is already over and I'm guessing its not from the article. (Gives a little inner cheer knowing that Hong Gil Dong is doing well in ratings!) Personally, while I have nothing against him as an actor, I feel like he looks a little smug in all of his pictures or just the way he carries himself. Anyways, away from the side note, congrats to him for being a father! Boy does the media get ahold of news fast (the baby was only born yesterday!)

Question does he still sing at all. I first saw him in successful story of a bright girl and he sang in the ost of that drama.
Robbers was to little humor and too much melodrama for me, I stopped around episode 4 to watch Hong Gil Dong, never seen New Heart there way too many hospital soap opera on local TV for it to appeal to me.

Congrats to Jang Hyuk! Bulhandang/Robbers may not be getting the ratings it deserves, but it is FAR FROM YOUR ORDINARY MELODRAMA. It has great acting and A LOT OF HEART. The soompi thread is quite busy with some great threaders posting lots of interesting comments and insights.

Speaking of 'Robbers' (whatever you want to call it, dramabeans), did you drop this drama ? For me, it's getting kinda cheesy (melodrama is not my liking). Maybe I am just getting into Hong Gil Dong a little bit too much.

o/t on Robbers: Robbers isn't your typical melodrama.. it has so much heart and warmth, and it doesn't make you depressed all the time. It can make you smile, laugh, cry..in just one single episode. Every single episode left me with mixed feelings, and I just couldn't stop writing how much I loved a particular scene after watching. IMO so far it's doing great..albeit the rather few mentions about it Soompi. It's not for everybody tho.. some veered away and stopped at the beginning eps but for me, I'm really glad I kept on watching. IMO it's way better than Hong Gil Dong altho I love the Hong Sisters and KJH. The nuance and subtlety in Robbers is far more enhanced.. ^_^ ; but again, it's just my opinion.

after watching Jang Hyuk in Robbers act with that adorable little girl, i have a strong feeling he will be a good dad. congratulations daddy Hyuk!

on Robbers...it is a GREAT drama. It's too bad the 'melodrama' theme turned off a lot of people. IMHO it has a great balance between comedy and melo. It is well written, well directed and well acted. I hope more people will give it a shot and discover the joy of watching Robbers for his/herself. I can't rave enough about Robbers....a wonderful human and character drama.

at first glance i thought Robbers was going to be those boring melodramas that I try to stay away from... but i'm glad i started watching it... it's a great kdrama.. made me smile, laugh & cry... i would definitely recommend everyone giving it a chance despite its low viewer ratings!

when I watched his drama"THANK YOU", I'm so impressed about Jang hyuk. He looks cool,warm,and can be a good father. JANG HYUK.., congrats to u has a baby boy. It must handsome like you.Iam curious to looking forward to see his latest drama"CHUNO" with Lee Dae Ha,they are suitable couple in the movie.
