What’s on Jung Il Woo’s mind?

Currently circulating on the intertubular info-highway are the following diagrams depicting the brain “structure” of young rising heartthrob Jung Il Woo. The one on the left is a drawing for his character (Lee Yunho) on the show that shot him to stardom, the sitcom Unstoppable High Kick, and was initially released months ago as part of a set with the other characters on the show.

The one on the right is a recent take-off of the High Kick picture, filled in with tidbits about the actor himself. Translations beyond the jump.

The central cloud about drinking tolerance refers to the nervousness he feels wondering how his film will perform: “How will it come out in the end? I’ve only seen the parts I’m in; will my senior actors’ parts come out okay? If the movie breaks the 2 million [tickets] mark, Ilgan Sports wants to do a ‘drinking inteview’ with me — is it okay to start thinking about it? But my tolerance has gone down lately. Gotta work on that.”

“Winning Eleven” refers to a soccer video game: “Fans found out I liked Winning Eleven and even bought me the game. My manager hyungs wanted to play together and donated a bunch of games to the office but my managers keep winning and it bums me out. Do I have to keep practicing?”

What’s his next project? “My dilemma over my next project keeps growing. I like movies, but my condition seems better suited for the fast, constant pace of dramas. I want to find a great role that’ll shed the ‘Dumb Yunho’ image, but should I try action?”

Jung and Jeon

 
“Let’s go to Hong Kong”: Recently Jung Il Woo filmed a CF for a beverage wherein he spoke into the female actress’s ear, “Let’s go to Hong Kong!” Apparently internet backlash was huge and swift, catching him off-guard — because he was unaware of the slang suggestiveness of the term, which is a euphemism for finding a place to sleep together. “I just did what they told me to at the shoot site. I didn’t know it would cause such a reaction. But since the noonas seem to like it, I’m glad for that, at least.”

About Jeon Ji Hyun: “When I was asked about my ideal woman, I answered Jeon Ji Hyun, and afterward all these reports kept coming out linking us together. We were selected to be CF models for a cell phone, but we’ve never met. When we do meet, won’t she think I’m a stalker or something? I guess I shouldn’t say anything anymore about her being my ideal type. But still, noona, I’d like to meet you!”

Conclusion?

It’s great to be young, hot, and famous. If those are the bulk of Jung Il Woo’s worries, he’s leading a charmed life. Not that I hold that against him. He’s one of the lucky ones.
