        Arghh!!! I have to agree – that hairstyle is the worst before the makeover in the middle of the series. My shallow friend refused to watch Fated to Love You even though I told her he became so handsome midway

          Lol I never watch it up until now because I can’t stand his hairstyle. Anything but not FtLY. Iris 2 already made me cringed a bit. hahaha.

            Don’t be like my shallow friend, dee! His handsome makeover will definitely make you forget his horrible hairstyle in the first 11 (maybe 12?) episodes ???

            Oh… but you have to put up with his horrible laughter, some beanies grew to like it but not me unfortunately but that still didn’t stop me from watching the show, sigh..the things I suffer for Oppa and his craft…hmmm…. on 2nd thot, maybe just forget about watching the show 😆😆

            Nah whenever he’s laugh I’ll laugh too I love ahjussi voice so I have no problem with that.
            I can’t stand ahjussi/oppa with bang, that’s all. Curly bangs, most of it.

            How could you not watch Fated to Love You? It was the first show I saw my Jang Hyuk act in, and it is his best drama to me. The others never quite matched up to it.

            @yyishere 1st because of his hair and his bang, 2nd maybe the pairing. I like it better if ahjussi coupled with a tough woman (?)
            My first time saw him was in Tree With Deep Roots, then I watch The Flu. He’s so much handsome theree

        I couldn’t watch it at first, had to stop even before I could finish episode 1, it was so slapstick and over the top, but rewatched again after two years, and fast forwarded all the annoying parts and suddenly at about episode 5, everything calmed down, and the drama became so interesting and so sad. Jang Nara changes in character, the drama spans a few years, so the doormat girl becomes a strong independent woman at the end of the drama. Watch it for Jang Hyuk’s acting, he was so awesome, and for Jang Nara, she’s so good. The hair – got used to it after a while, couldn’t stand the middle parting in the middle of the drama, but he cut it off and went back to his very short spare haircut after that. But somehow I missed the weird hair in the beginning, This is a lovely drama, I would say it’s one of my most favorite dramas up there in my Top 5 List. It’s the only drama of Jang Hyuk I could watch properly in fact , because I had to fast forward all the rest. Haven’t see The Flu….maybe I should give it a try.

          Maybe I’ll be able to watch it, because as you told me it seems like Jang Nara becomes not so annoying anymore.
          You should watch him in The Flu, he’s so namja there!
          and Innocent Thing (but there is bed scene with JoBoAh). He becomes a very impossibly good looking hawt sport teacher, no wonder JoBoAh becomes such a psycho.
