I enjoyed Reunited Worlds\’ first episode but gah Lee Yeonhee\’s terrible. Can we have more scenes with her younger version instead? Chaeyeon isn\’t an amazing actress but she still delivers much better.

      The story’s nice and the drama’s so pretty… but LYH and AJH scenes are just -_- Yeo Jingoo’s so fantastic as usual though. And while there are similarities with what happened to him here and Circle, this time, Jingoo plays a much brighter and more innocent character… and he laughs a lot in this. But still I do understand your dilemma. As far as episode 1 goes, the female lead casting is so disappointing.

      It makes me nervous and excited. The PD also said what happened to his character isn’t time slip either. T_T Him being an angel or a ghost is really a possibility. I just want this one to be good. Today’s the press conference and the netizens are attacking left and right. Sigh.

      I haven’t seen her in anything before but I’ve read lots of great things about her so I’m totally looking forward to this. It’s sad that there are so many people being salty about it… but people whining about it won’t change her casting so yay! 😀

    I saw this on Twitter and jumped for joy! Her character in Broadchurch was the exact opposite of the incarnations of the Doctor I’ve seen, but I have no doubt she can pull off the zaniness.

    I expect lots of saltiness from misogynists in the coming months. *sigh*

      IKR. I’ve already seen lots. (◔_◔) I mean The Doctor is an alien that has the ability to regenerate into new forms and yet people are whining that it’s so unacceptable for The Doctor to be a woman simply because the character has been played by a man for decades. I mean, it’s one thing if the character doesn’t have that ability, but this one can… so why not explore that possibility? What a way to put this show that has been about embracing changes into a box.

      Anyways, I’m really excited for her~ There is certainly a lot of pressure going on for her but she won’t be chosen for the role if she doesn’t have what it takes to be The Doctor.

        Ikr! And it’s not as if that came out of nowhere. The show established that Time Lords have the ability to regenerate to a different sex. Aside from the Master/Missy, there was the Corsair in that Neil Gaiman episode.

        And let’s not forget that when Tom Baker left the show in the 80s, he wished the next Doctor good luck, “whoever he or she may be.” The idiots screaming the show is ruined because the Doctor will regenerate into a woman are nothing but sexist pigs.

      So true. He really grew up so well~ yesterday an article also came out that Jingoo went to visit the set of Suspicious Partners because his filming site was nearby. And he also sent them a coffee truck previously. He’s so humble and nice and has great manners, no wonder he’s so well loved. ♥
