For Beanies who watch Manhole: Why is it that Pil needed to be physically near the manhole for him to jump the timeline in Eps 5-6? Is this something that will explored in Eps 7-8?

    He has to be near the manhole to jump from the present alter-timeline back to the past. In the past it automatically sucks him to the present at the time.

I was starting to get tired of Pil’s crazy antics but then Ep 5 rolled around and here I am crying at 12am. The what ifs and could’ve beens struck too close to home. 😭

Sometimes TBOTWG feels emotionally lacking to me that I’m not sure why and how I lasted this long in the drama. This clip reminded me: it somehow redeems itself by delivering perfect comedic timing.

Can we talk about how AWESOME the OST is for The Bride of the Water God? I\’m so in love with Glass Bridge & how perfectly heartbreaking it sounds. I can\’t wait for the rest of the songs in the drama!

    I too am enjoying it for the most part. I read the manhwa ages ago and remember almost nothing plot wise. I think it helps not knowing the source material (or remembering it).

      I think it helps knowing the source material too lol. In that I hated the manhwa and had really low expectations that this drama has already well exceeded. There was no plot to remember in the manhwa btw.

        I know a couple of people who enjoyed the manhwa and hated the drama’s casting and the decision to modernize it, so I chose to go in blind. 😂

        Maybe I’ll give it a shot when the drama ends, just to see what the manhwa hype is all about!
