If the ending had been better I would’ve said it was an enjoyable, if very flawed and inconsequential show. But with the two last eps it went from that to pure time-waste -.-
Same, I slowly lost interest in the show because frankly it wasn’t all that imaginative. I just liked the characters A LOT. A satisfying ending could have saved it.
What was up with this wishy washy ending? That weird married couple made me want to puke. Oh whatever, I should just forget about it.
I think it had some really fun moments, but they never made it clear why the wood-carvings and slush-fund were of such national importance. I agree, the characters are what kept me watching.
I have no idea what happened at the end. I’m still confused. Like… Was the kid Un-Gwang’s or not? If he is then he should’ve been older. And was K gonna go back to Do Ha? I dunno, maybe it’s the subs that weren’t correct, but everything felt a bit confusing and too up in the air, yet as if we were supposed to get something meaningful out of the last moments. And yes, Mi Eun and her villainous hubby were kind of… odd to say the least.
I’m over it now. I was ranting in the comment section and that helped me let it go XD it’s like therapy. I guess I just wanted it to be more of everything, because I liked the beginning and the characters.
I actually thought the show got a bit better in some ways in the last few episodes but I don’t think I was that engaged. A writing or a directing issue?
I liked the directing most of the time, it was the writing I found lazy. I get that it was mainly a comedy, but that doesn’t mean your villains shouldn’t have a personality and just be carbon copies of others. The whole missions weren’t really thought through. It was the little things that were missing. With just a few tweaks it could have been much better. I liked that the show didn’t take itself to serious, but you can still be a bit more clever. It was basically just three/ four characters and their interaction that carried the entire thing.
Definitely not just you! When everything with the baddies was solved and there were still 45 minutes left, I couldn’t help looking at my watch every 5 seconds, worried about what the hell they were going to do with the remaining time. I thought it was gonna be spent exploring the group behind Baek, but that also didn’t make sense since there was not enough time left…and then SW is sent to a mission, DH casually forgets she can track him, they casually throw a hint of ME’s kid maybe being Oppa’s…I mean, what? I yelled at my TV when it ended and felt sorely disappointed, but it kind of faded with time, which makes sense considering I feel ‘meh’ about this drama. It’s sad, though, that they had a great cast and characters and didn’t take advantage of it to deliver a good drama. I could have overlooked the plotholes and silly villains if they’d stuck with the comedy, romance, and (especially) the bromance, but alas….things happen!
Still think PHJ is an awesome actor, I’m a new fan of Park Sung Woong, and, most importantly, Lee Dong Hyun wasn’t killed! Haha…so not everything was bad!
Yeah, what was up with the weird hint about the kid? Why throw that in there? What was the point?….Nevermind, I don’t care about it anymore. I just gonna hit delete in my brain.
Shame because I really, really liked the actors!

I keep thinking about the finale of Man to Man and I keep getting annoyed.
Is it just me?

Probably not (: I’m not exactly annoyed, but I do feel a bit miffed, with rather mixed feelings.

I thought it made reasonable sense as an ending. I was more annoyed earlier on in the story.

I agree. It could have been a lot better or it could have been a spy spoof and gone for the laughs. It fell in the middle.
