    Yes that guy was really creepy, and so are the woman and the reverend. The way that they manipulate the people in the town.😮pretty scary.

      The woman and the reverend (or Spiritual Father as used in the subs I watched) seemed to have been happy once like the new family but something bad must have happened. They might want to take over the town and Sang Woo’s politician dad is not a random choice. They could use him and his wife in the future.

        And that is the scary part is that they already have most of the town under their control.😮

          Their influence must be from ages ago because of how much people trust them. But what’s the purpose ? Why do they want to control them through religion instead of politics for example ? Is it easier this way ? So much questions after the first episode !

            Yes, it will be really interesting to know why they chose to use religion because the spiritual father could have easily gain control of the town by becoming a politician.

      No Hee Kyung is working on a new drama Live. Lee Kwang Soo is in talk and she works often with same actors. Maybe JIS and/or KB will be casted.

        Well I just hope they’ll return to kdrama soon though they’re busy with movies. I know Jo In Sung will have new movie, “Ansi City” and Kim Bum is in for “Detective K3” though I’m not sure what his role exactly.

      Cray Little Thing Called Loved (girl’s POV) and You’re The Apple of My Apple (boy’s POV) are about first love in high school. Café Waiting Love with Sung Vivian is wacky but great.
      Yesterday Once More has that youthful and friendship vibe.

Before joining dramaland I really liked telenovelas. My favorite was Más sabe El diablo and I had a crush on the lead (Angel <3 ).

    I saw some episodes and the couple had a lot of chemistry. Some of my favorite telenovelas are Yo soy Betty la Fea, El Clon(from Globo) and La Mujer Perfecta.

My first female SLS : Kang So Ra as Oh Soo Hyun in Doctor Stranger . This show was a total mess and it’s no secret it wasted his cast minus Jin Se Yeon. BUT my only hope was for my OTP to become real. The script told us to believe that Hoon still loved his first love despite all the years and fake death/identity when the chemistry Quack couple was explosive on screen. I seriously thought they would end up together at some point but nope we shall follow the script. As you can tell I’m still salty after all these years. At least she had Park Hae Jin right ?

    I totally feel you. I dropped this show mainly because they didn’t end up together (writer-nim, WHY?). Their chemistry is so evident that it’s blasting off our screens. If they only hadn’t shown us how adorable they are when they bicker, we wouldn’t have been this salty.

    I think for Jin Se Yeon, it happened twice that viewers are having second female lead syndrome, first Gaksital then Dr Stranger 😂

    Park Haejin is ok… But I’m Team Quack all the way! 😊 I honestly couldn’t understand why Hoon was hung up on his first love the entire time when she was basically useless and Doc Quack is bad-ass.

    Oh my gosh, this drama. I remember starting it and liking the first 2 or 3 episodes, and yes, thinking that Kang So-ra’s character was interesting. Then ….. it’s all a blur now. I stopped watching it somewhere along the way but all I recall is everyone’s incessant talking about “the plan.” The continuously mentioned “plan” became a running joke in DB because no “plan” was ever explained.

      I watched it before discovering dramabeans and at some point I was so lost. I didn’t know what was happening with the villains and their grand scheme. Even Hoon’s plan or whatever. I thought I was dumb but after reading people’s reaction I understood the show was a real mess not me XD

I don\’t know if it\’s my X-Files fan days surfacing or the latest dramas Circle or Duel but I\’m looking for a drama or drama special involving sci-fi or creepy supernatural creatures and events.

    There’s KBS drama special “Live Shock” about zombie virus and “Home Sweet Home” about cyborg. It’s only 1 eps long and quite good.

            That’s exactly my thought whenever I watch a good drama special. That they could expand it to at least a 4 or 6 eps mini drama.

    Secret Investigation Record/Joseon X-Files     is pretty good.

      I second this. I only read recaps since sageuk isn’t my favorite genre, but it IS good. Even from screencaps alone, I could tell that it looks haunting.
