    He is so young though! But I guess it’s good that he finishes the enlistment in his early years and comes back with such a potentially awesome future!

      i think koreans usually enlist at 20 years old, like for my country it’s 18. just that in korea, celebrities can defer till they are 29 years old. i think it’s a great idea to enlist young when they are at their peak for energy level.

        Yeah I feel it is better to get done with enlistment early on too!
        Your country has mandatory enlistment too? Where are you from?

          haha, yes it is, & it’s almost impossible to defer here. the government is very strict on this.

            But is there any danger of imminent war there? Like with S.Korea, N. Korea is an ever- present threat.. or is it just to keep the military powerful?

          well, we are a small country, just a little red dot on the map, so there’s a need to build up our defense force i guess.

      Yeah, they (YG, AKMU) have been talking about his enlistment for a while… for a year actually haha.

          Ish? I’m not sure the exact time but when I got into AKMU around the end of last year I think, fans were already talking about his enlistment this year.
