When I first saw this scene in the beginning of the episode i was shocked but then half a second later I couldn’t hold back the urge to laugh even though it was supposed to be a tense scene.
Somehow I just keep hearing suggestions that Duel is pretty good. Today I decided to judge for myself. Episode 1 started out to be VERY slow but after that, it seems like it\’ll get better and better.
Give it a go. It’s not brilliant, it does move slowly but it’s an interesting concept with twists that keep you hanging on, and Yang Se-jong gives a stellar performance. He’s so good, worth watching for him!
It does have a lot of twists, and sometimes I can’t follow them which is why I love DB and the recaps to ask and read what others think! Thanks for the encouragement!
Yes, it does seem that way. Its getting better and better but more questions are popping up as little bit of information is given to us. Its a really mind boggling show!
After reading the Catnip on fish out of water, I started watching Queen In-Hyun\’s man, again….. LOL must be because of the end of Circle that made me looking for more.
What am I going to do after Circle!? Its been 2 days and I\’m still not over it and I can\’t find anything to replace Circle and Yeo Jin Goo! Someone, please, help……..
I just finished episode 12 of Circle. It was great! Because the recap is not done yet, I have no where to rant. But I just want to say the last scene is it an introduction to season 2?
At first I thought the show would be about Aliens but I guess it is just using aliens to introduce the technology to videolize human memory so as to address the issues that may arise because of this. All in all I loved it, although the mystery of aliens were not addressed. Thank you show, for introducing me to Yeo Jin Goo.
Which is why we need Season 2! Why did Byul come to earth anyway? Everything was wrapped up very well except for the whole alien thing.
This was also the first show with a grown-up Yeo Jin Goo I’ve seen and good god the boy can act! The entire cast did a stellar job, though, STELLAR, but YJG was an absolute standout. He’s on his way to becoming of the finest Korean actors if he continues to grow and choose great projects. *claps*
I would definitely call it a sequel hook for Season 2! On one hand, I am bummed the alien mystery did not happen. On the other hand, I’m glad they did not rush it and do a terrible job of trying to explain it. It would be amazing if we got a season 2 that focuses solely on the aliens and Byul’s origins! 🙂

Give it a go. It’s not brilliant, it does move slowly but it’s an interesting concept with twists that keep you hanging on, and Yang Se-jong gives a stellar performance. He’s so good, worth watching for him!

It gets so much better after episode 6 or so. I think the first few episodes were like an introduction to the characters.
