Has anyone seen a drama where the female lead wasn’t shamed into taking off their glasses?! I’m proud of Chicago Typewriter for admitting that you can still be pretty with glasses.

      She did also wear contacts though and that lawyer guy def made fun of her older pair of glasses.

        Yeah, she rotates between glasses and contacts, and JW’s seem to be just reading glasses.

        True, but that hasn’t really stopped her from wearing them (not that she particularly has a choice when she doesn’t have access to contacts, but I don’t think she really took his criticism to heart)

        He did make fun, but not of the actual wearing of glasses, just the style – they were untrendy huge horn-rimmed glasses

    I love the fact the Yoo Ah-in is wearing glasses 90% of the time. Not everyone has perfect vision or wants to wear contacts! *cough me cough*

    It’s hard to think of a heroine who wears glasses throughout a series. For male lead, I remember Daniel Choi’s character in High Kick through the Roof wears glasses 90% of the time.
