So, forgoing any moral dilemmas, I see no reason why Dae-Hwi, Tae-Hoon and Eun-Ho can’t all be Student X. You know, form their own little vigilante group! It’d be fun, come on!
Exactly. Since it would be impossibly hard to change the school’s crazy system through legal means, they should make their own vigilante group to make a meaningful change for the students.
seriously. I wish I had a prior experience with actual Korean schools, so I’d know what was more exaggerated and what is more realistic. Even so, I feel like I’ve done enough actual research (I actually wrote a college paper about the gaokao in China once) to know it’s a seriously pressure filled system.
Right? I feel so bad for their homeroom teacher, he’s so kindhearted amongst the rest… but I don’t even know if I really agree with him either, since let’s face it, teenagers can be punks sometimes (we all are at times, really). But the merits/rankings system isn’t the way to handle it at all either! Gaaaah I shouldn’t rant about education in my kdrama haven, it feels like bringing real life into my hobby too much…
The latest tricks that the crazy teachers & principal did in Ep 5 are so argh I can’t find the words. I never hated a kdrama high school more than this.

I agree. So much better than just one – them all finding their way to buck the system and be themselves again.
