Out of the loads of shows I haven’t finished. I decided to finish this one. I wish I had finished it earlier but I never got time. Hope I don’t die because I just remembered the plot of it.
This was the show that made me first want to delurk! I still remember the intelligent discussions everyone had on those recap threads. For the first time, a kdrama for me was not limited to how good or cute or adorable or hot the leads looked (which they definitely did here) but about the story, about symbolism, about sound track, about philosophical theories etc! I am still waiting for a season 2 or atleast a reunion of In Guk and Bo Gummy.
I was scared of finishing it at first because seeing Seo In Guk would make me sad (cause of him going to the military). But once I started episode 10 again I realised the show is amazingly written and directed. And the actors are so amazing. Sometimes I don’t really realize it is Jang Na-Ra. She isn’t really playing a role that she typically plays. And love that. And BO GUMMY. He will always be amazing. Since I first saw him in my first drama (Tomorrow’s Cantabile) I have loved him. I’m gonna finish the last episode tomorrow. So wish me luck.
Oooh you don’t need luck. You are gonna love it! After you are done watching it, and if you have time, do go the ep 16 thread. I remember some of were there for a long long time, having so many discussions.
And yes the military thing is a damper. Plus, I hate that he hasn’t even started his 2 year service as he had to return because of an injury. So it is like adding more months to our already long wait till we get to see him work again!
This show was my first intro to Bogummy. And I frankly believe this was the perfect show to showcase his acting skills, and no wonder that he got his first leading role right after this one.
Oh and yes Jang Nara was amazing here! I have loved her in every drama that i have seen of hers but she was definitely different here. I really loved Choi Won Young too and now I have decided to watch every show that he is a part of too.
