I don’t care how bitter Shang Nen is about some shiz that happened when they were in college, or how pissy she is that Huan Huan is a better Travel Agent/Sales Manager what-ever-the heck they do– it was incredibly shitty of her to do that at Huan Huan’s wedding. To heck with Huan Huan how could Shang Nen do that to her own Uncle And she’s just sitting there smirking into her flowers and laughing. She deserves so much more than what Huan Huan dishes out.
One of the things that I like about this drama is that everyone is painted in shades of gray. Even when they are at their petty best you get where their coming from and while their reactions are dialed up to 117 on a scale from 1-10 its the underlying feelings that keep me with them. I don’t know if the actress playing Huan Huan is just better than the actress playing Sheng Nan or what but I am never on that child’s side. Even when it seems like I should be. I will bend over backwards and fanwank myself 37 ways from Sunday to keep myself far away from siding with her.
