I love Ji-won but I get uncomfortable every time she’s inappropriate towards Sung-min. I’ve been sexually abused so any scene, no matter how innocuous, makes me really uncomfortable.

You aren’t alone, I haven’t been sexually abused, I love this pair and all but it seriously made me uncomfortable when Ji-Won nearly jumped on Sungmin when they were in carpark.

I just keep imagining what would happen if the roles were reversed and I cannot help but cringe at those moments. Especially when they are played for comedy. I didn’t want to bring it up in the recap comments section because a lot of people seem to love them and I didn’t want it to seem like I was being overly sensitive about nothing.

This “if roles were reversed” can change perspective on so many female leads.
People often say that girls have it harder and while I partly agree in dramaland they have it so much easier.
If she is abusive she could be called the symbol of feminism (Dan-Ah in first episodes), if she is pervert and doesn’t has problems with sexual harassment people can call her cute/strange and if she doesn’t has job or any ambitions we simply don’t mention that (and then people hate the lead in Manhole for being the exact same way)
