Seeing the picture reminds me of how much I love this drama ♡ Despite the amnesia trope and the indescribable ending ( I still don’t understand it after 5 years ), it remains as one of my favourite drama. Who loves this drama as much as me ?
p/s: KBS World is airing this on their channel on weekdays night.
I actually like that the amnesia trope was incorporated well into the plot rather than being thrown in right at the end to extend episodes. They also showed that she had some brain damage (which is happens irl) but that seemed to disappear at the end.
I love this drama so much! The poster used to be my old desktop background. I was so addicted to this drama; I had a lot of still cut photos in my old computer.
I think the end is that he lost his memories after the surgery, which means he gets to be “reborn” just like he wished (when he answered her question about how he didn’t avoid the car because he wanted a start-over in the next life). Just like he wished, he gets to live normally, with no thoughts of revenge, no tortured past, and gets to experience a simple love story with her. He goes to her bakery even when the food tastes bad because even with his memories lost, he fell for her again. She, of course, remembers him, and it’s possible she lived close to him and pursued him and was still like a giddy bashful girl with him like just how she met him at first, and that’s how she caught his interest and he fell for her again. And then finally proposed after.
My love for Song Joong-ki started from this drama ❤ Well, I know him from RM and was so sad that he’s leaving. The reasons why I watched DOTS was because of him and I’m still waiting for him to reunite with Moon Chae Won in a good drama and a good script and a good director and everything.
This was one of the first dramas I watched and I really liked it but I nearly gave up because Park Si-yeon drove me mad. Song Joon-ki and Moon Chae-won both made a big impression on me!

The setting of the last 20 minutes of the final episode felt like a dream. I thought of that because of his last voiceover where he faints.

This was my introduction to Song Joong-ki! As such, it holds a special place. Totally loved it when it aired.
And I’d rewatch it today …… if I had time!
