I too am enjoying it for the most part. I read the manhwa ages ago and remember almost nothing plot wise. I think it helps not knowing the source material (or remembering it).
I think it helps knowing the source material too lol. In that I hated the manhwa and had really low expectations that this drama has already well exceeded. There was no plot to remember in the manhwa btw.

Idk if it’s because I came in with zero expectations and zero knowledge of its original material, but I’m kinda enjoying The Bride of the Water God. 💦

Hahaha. Well, I guess it works both ways. I just remember it was very very pretty.

I know a couple of people who enjoyed the manhwa and hated the drama’s casting and the decision to modernize it, so I chose to go in blind. 😂
Maybe I’ll give it a shot when the drama ends, just to see what the manhwa hype is all about!

I didn’t read the manhwa and I’m really enjoying it so far, it’s my kind of funny 😂

Me too! Tbh I don’t feel the chemistry yet between the two leads but the humor is on point so far.

I’m so curious about it! I think I’ll start watching once I catch up with SP…I almost never watch airing dramas, but this seems like a safe bet
