This was sad, somehow.

The fact that he even has to explain that his actions are not a tactic, because now she suspects everything. T_T I think he mustn’t feel great about what he did, poor SW! But I kind of wish he’d apologized to her at least.

Her face, as she’s stunned when he says something so sincere, and then she’ll switch to her knowing look and say, that’s your sincerity tactic…and I saw hurt there, poor, poor DH. He destroyed her trust in him totally.

I don’t know, for me it is hard to sympathize with him. Of course I see the signs that he has fallen for her and it is beautiful and I’m definitely shipping them, but still he NEEDS to feel the pain he has caused those women that he used. Sure, he didn’t do it because he was an a**hole or anything, but because of his mission, still, this doesn’t make it alright. Toying with somebodies heart is one of the cruelest things one can do and he needs to get some perspective.

He hasn’t apologized so far, it’s more like, it was in line with my mission, sorry, too bad. I think he’s definitely going to be rattled soon somehow, she’s going to get hurt in a big way, and he’s going to feel pain and regret for what he’s done.

And the part he was prepared to romance the agent also showed that he’s continuing to do the same thing he has been doing all the while, romancing as a tactic and an ends to a means. That was an eye-opener for me, like okay, he’s falling for DH, but he’ll still romance other girls if it’s necessary. Hard to see how DH is going to live with this guy even though they may end up together in the end, unless he gives up his spy job for her and takes on a day job, which I think he will, in the end.

I don’t know if I want him to give up his spy job for her, but I would like for him to stop romancing as a tactic. It just feels a little like he is prostituting himself.
