        I was expecting a bad twist at the end but it gave me a good one instead and I was so happy. Such a satisfying last 5 minutes, totally replayed the KO at least thrice.

          Yesss! Those last 5 min were just perfect. That KO was great, especially since his opponent was that douchebag sunbae…I’ve been waiting for him to get kicked ever since he appeared. BUT I gotta say, the highlight for me was when DM totally IGNORED Whatsherface Hye-ran. Aaaah the satisfaction! I might have actually rubbed my hands together, villain style.

            I did rub my hands together with glee. I found AR’s punch more satisfying than the fight, but when he picked AR out of the crowd my heart just burst into happy tears.

My feelings about IU’s music are mixed, but her new album has some really good songs on it.
I love her voice though (when it’s not too cutesy).
This song “Love Alone” gives me goosebumps. <3

    The album is a masterpiece. But I honestly believe that IU can do no wrong and every album she puts out is holy and untouchable so maybe people shouldn’t trust my opinion.

      He was amazing. This was actually the first show I really saw him in.
      I did check out his acting here and there, but I never invested much in the those shows, so there wasn’t much context for me to judge his acting. But he is truly talented.

        I 1st saw him in gaksital and cantabile tomorrow but I didn’t really notice him. Until I watched IRY I was like holyshit. He’s one fine young actor. Then his taekie in reply 1988 was 😍😍😍 I didn’t manage to finish moonlight drawn by clouds coz sageuks not really my type..

          I tried to watch moonlight drawn by clouds too, but sageuk isn’t my type either. I might try it again sometime, when I’m in the mood for a somewhat light drama, bc that’s what I got from its tone.
          After Strong Woman Do Bong Soon ended, I found myself in the mood for a more serious/melancholic tone…but not too heavy

What an AMAZING show!!

    It really is an amazing show! I stayed on the ep 16 thread for almost an year after the show aired! Some of the discussions were pretty brilliant! Ep 15 was actually also my first time delurking on DB!

      The show is so fascinating. There is so much nuance…such a great writer.
      And it doesn’t lose its quality even with only two episodes left. I’m thoroughly impressed.

      Also, good to see a slow-burn low-key romance. I love a good straight out romance, but there’s an abundance of those in dramaland. Always good to see a different portrayal.

    Better late than never! Glad to know you’re watching it. Agreed, I Remember You is pretty great. It does a good job of approaching the issue of nature vs nurture. You don’t see that too often in a drama.

      I’m holding off on watching the last two episodes, bc I don’t wanna say goodbye just yet… just wanna bask in the perfection that it is.

      Also whoa whoa, the acting! I knew Seo In-guk and Park Bo-gum were great, but I was completely blown away. And the remaining cast is great too. So much to love about this show
