Right? I continued with it because I wanted to see why everyone is loving it and spazzing about it and now I totally know why. Planning to watch the remaining episodes today, in time for the finale. Sadly, I can only watch the finale on Monday because I don’t have Internet during weekends. Fortunately, the recaps don’t roll around until Wednesday so I’m safe from all spoilers. Haha! Yup that’s the plan! I think at first I had to adjust to the pacing, different genre and having a majority of characters being very guarded with their emotions and facial expressions. I stayed with it to see what was up with the hype too and because it was shot so beautifully. I also stuck around because Cho Seung-Woo has this boyish manish charm about him and Bae Doo-Na gives her character so much warmth. 💕
Yes to that! At first it was so difficult because I dunno everyone’s intentions and emotions. Everyone was so guarded. Also, I’m not used to a kdrama that feels like an American TV show? So at first I was really confused. When I started watching it like an American TV show, I stopped feeling confused. Which just means that this is kind of a first for kdramas. Up until the eighth episode, we don’t know what’s actually happening. So excited for all the reveals and the journey to all the revelations!

It didn’t grab me right away but HOLY COW I just saw seven episodes of Forest of Secrets nonstop and I’m queuing the eighth episode. THIS IS SO GOOD
