And uh… I don’t have a special farewell gift so, I feel bad, but … here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bdx1xeA00DA
Compilation summary of all Sorim’s singing moments. You can’t go wrong with music right?
A song called “The End of the World” by Nina Gordon came on in my music library as I was looking at your comment, and it’s the perfect balance of melancholy and poppy and fitting for my mood right now. But I’m pretty sure your compilation will help raise my spirits.
You’re welcome! I’ve loved sharing this ride with my fellow beanies. I’ve also been having a blast doing this, so maybe once my wrists recover I’ll come up with another drama project.
(I’ll also still have a few wrap up thought posts over the next 24 hours or so. Currently brain is a bit too fried to be super coherent in longform writing….and it’s almost 3 AM where I’m at.)
Gosh! Go to sleep! I’ll wait for your wrap up tomorrow, there’s no urgency! I’m not sure why you decided to do this but I had a blast, so I’m glad you enjoyed it too. 🙂
I’m a night owl with bad insomnia, so late nights are my norm. I decided to do this because I was incredibly stressed out by the world and my life, and needed something to focus some creative or analytical energies on. It’s kind of cathartic for me. I rarely feel comfortable expressing myself where others can see it, but the beanie community feels safe for me these days. I didn’t realize when I picked this drama that it had such a huge following; it just seemed something that would be fun to watch and react to. And I honestly believed the reactions would die out after a day or two. Instead the debates and analysis I’ve seen and done over the last week have been a delight to partake in and I would definitely consider doing something like this again.

Congratulations for finishing it. This drama is a lowkey gem. Special as a whole even if nothing extraordinary happens in it.
