KDrama Review of “The K2”

“The K2” is a show built around the hero played by Ji Chang Wook. He carries the production admirably. The action sequences are innovative and thrilling with no one like the other. Ji Chang Wook shined and was complimented by a strong cast of supporting actors and interesting characters. I would have liked to see some storylines drawn out in more detail, while others (mainly some of the dragging political focuses) could have been skipped over. This show had some really compelling moments, both with our heroes… and our “villains”. The lines between good and evil are definitely blurred by circumstances and motivations in this one. The show’s way of making you feel for/pity the bad guys is definitely one of its strongest points. Lastly, let’s all have a chuckle about the incessant and strangely timed Subway plugs continually popping up in this one, haha.
